It’s very pop, with only a bit of steel guitar as the country element (and her voice, I guess), but goddamn it doesn’t matter. Carrie’s last foray into pop was “Quitter,” and she sounds so disinterested on that track; here, though, she plays the role of the lusting lady well. Her voice is provocative and playful, the production is crisp and subdued, it all works perfectly.

This is okay. It's an easy listen, but it's not particularly memorable at all. Also a tad undercooked, a great bridge could have worked wonders on this. The harmonies at the end are cute.

Why haven't they made the lyrics video available in the US? Smh.

How CAYUUUUUTE is this chorus tho??
When it started, I was ready to just give up on it—the verses aren’t my fav—but then the chorus hit and I did not care.
It’s just a breezy, easy, poppy song. I like the little studio effects on her voice here, too.

This is better than both "Cry Pretty" and "Love Wins" IMO, but it's still not wowing me. I don't know what's going on this era, but all of these songs seem blander than Carrie's normal output.

I love "Cry Pretty" and "Love Wins" (+ "The Champion"). I don't care for "End Up With You." Her voice doesn't even sound like itself during the verses, as if it's been digitally processed. It's not unlistenable, but it won't be a song I'll come back to.

It definitely sounds like they pressed the button in the studio vocal board that just says “pop radio,” but it doesn’t bother me. Probably because I’ve never been a fan of Carrie’s natural tone and don’t generally care about country music, but this little pop bop foray works for me (in a way that feels less forced or hammy than The Champion or Love Wins).

I mean...I will probably enjoy it in full as a nice album track, but nothing else. I'm just not going to trip over my fingers to praise it. Not saying you are doing it, but that seems to be the general reaction.

I consider myself a casual Carrie fan, mostly frustrated by her material compared to her potential. Everything always seems formulaic but a lot is fun to listen to.
Anyway, I love this. It’s poppy, but that’s not always a bad thing. It’s fun, breezy and somehow sounds genuine. A thousand times better than Cry Pretty or Love Wins.

It doesn't scream "Carrie song" but it's definitely the best of the songs so far. While I enjoy this one, I have to say that I haven't loved any of the released songs. That's too bad since she always starts with strong material.
