Sounds like what they are trying to do for their career - bring it back to life. Hopefully they stay gone.

Still bitter "Are You Happy Now" never saw the light of day. Hope to see them do well regardless.

“Back to Us” and then “Back to Life”? So "Back to Reality" should be something that needs to be written, right?

Just from the clip above this song intrigues me. Rascal Flatts believe it or not have an argument about being the second best group in country music history. The Oak Ridge Boys are right there with them as far as hits I think.

Rascal Flatts have 15 number ones. Zac Brown Band has 13. Alabama has 33 number one singles.

I believe Flatts only have 14 though.

I still found Back to Us miles superior to YIYWI. Same with Brad and Today/Last Time For Everything.
So I guess this will get some radio play and the rest of the album paid dust. Sadly, I guess that's where they are in their careers.

Getting (at least a mini) iHeartMedia deal today!
Edit: This is their best song since Rewind. The chorus and lyrics are really strong and hit home for me. The best part is definitely the melody in the chorus (especially the "my dreams come alive..." part). Absolutely love this.
Edit 2: Okay this might be my favorite single of theirs from this decade.

They're usually on more than off for me, and this is another good one imo. Very true to their style and sound. Definitely a solid song and I hope this one hits at country radio. I'm still sad that "Back to Us" bombed for them because it's one of my favorite singles they've released in the past 5 or so years, but "Back to Life" is strong as well.

The trio revealed that they're taking a step back from recording full albums, and they're excited about releasing singles for a while instead.

^ I'm not overly thrilled to hear there won't be a full album. I love the effort and the whole concept that goes into a full album, but I understand why they are doing it. With the past few albums, Rascal Flatts has had more misses than hits in terms of single content. So, I feel by them shifting their focus to a single song every few months or so, may allow them time to refocus what type of material gets released. As they said in the interview with Bobby Bones, their fighting their back catalog, and that can't be an easy thing to deal with either.

Heard this on Bobby Bones' show this morning for the first time and really liked it. I'm all for RF returning to radio for the sake of different sounding voices.

I’m calling it now! 15th #1. These guys have a knack for releasing dang good songs every time you think their career is done. I honestly didn’t think after “Back To Us” flopped these guys wouldn’t have another big hit again but this song gives me hope they’ll be right back at the top again.

I really like this. I still hear "Yours If You Want It" via recurrent play a ton, so I'm excited for radio to hopefully embrace some new music from the Flatts.

This is solid! They're very hit or miss with me since the Me & My Gang era, but this is definitely "hit." I love how it feels classic yet fresh.

So it's produced by the Department of Redundancy Department. Is it also sung by Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus, Joe Don Rooney, and Rascal Flatts? That's what BMLG submitted to Spotify. It is often used if the group is not well known to general public (e.g. Labrinth/Sia/Diplo for LSD, and Diplo/Mark Ronson for Silk City) However, I see it as the three people of Rascal Flatts are involved in production, but that particular person did the most.
