yeah i doubt radio will even think to touch this. with that Whores line in it. eventho they didn't have much of a chance anyway. but that kills it. can't see away to change it, where it makes since, or just straight up bleep it.

I'd just change whores to girls and I think that'd work fine, at least fine enough for a radio edit.

This is so good. I love the Pistol Annies. This probably won't do much at radio, but if it came close to the Top 40 like "Hush Hush" did a few years back, I'd consider that a victory. Can't wait for Interstate Gospel!

Better than anything a certain someone whose name rhymes with Lake Pelton has released in years. (Won’t mention any names I’ll get in trouble)

I really like this song. Perfect choice for the lead single to their new album. I hope it can at least make the top 40 at radio.

Best years of my life is a much better song.
So far the releases off of the new album have been hit or miss for me.
BYOML is by far the best, this and IG are fine - but meh, and Sugar Daddy ... I don't like.

When the first three songs were released Best Years of My Life was immediately my favourite and it still is. Before Got My Name Changed Back was announced as an official single I was a little afraid that they will just send all three songs to radio without any real promotional camping as Kacey Musgraves did with Space Cowboy and Butterflies. So now I'm glad that they picked an official single and I hope radio will give this song a chance. I've been following their youtube channel and Got My Name Changed Back has almost twice as many views as BYOML so I guess people generally prefer GMNCB and I do think that Got My Name Changed Back is good song (just not as good as BYOML). The sad thing is that they released only one single from each of their albums so that probably means that BYOML won't be sent to radio at all.

The last I saw this song was completely off the top 1500 on lovepopbars and two others at about 1480, so I wouldn’t exactly say the public is that interested. Streaming is bad too.

I made my point based entirely on youtube views because this is the only thing I follow and there GMNCB is doing better than other songs from the upcoming album. But I haven't said that public is very interested or anything like that because it's clear that a song with 300.000 views after 3 weeks on youtube is far from being popular.

Cool. The public is barely here for any of it.

Cool. The public is barely here for any of it. Cool. There's been no airplay for this yet and bare minimum promo for any of these songs/the album thus far, but their first two albums sold just fine without major radio support, so something tells me they'll be fine.

They’ll have released practically half the songs before the album even comes out and nothing’s catching on. Their last album was not good and most of these released songs aren’t. They’re singing the same songs- literally rewrote Hell on Heels and Taking Pills. People have moved on.

The Highway has been playing this for the past few weeks, but you are right about radio not playing it, yet.

I do think this song should get a decent add date as on AllAccess this song has around 15-20 starters as of today so that should provide a decent add date.
Early prediction for me is in the 20s for adds.

They look gorgeous in the music video, especially Miranda. Angaleena is rockin' that baby bump tho!

I have voiced my negativity of the Pistol Annies in the past.
But I am annoyed that this song in particular is just Miranda Lambert with Angaleena and Ashley Monroe being essentially backup singers. The one unique thing with Pistol Annies has been the rather equal vocals in their songs and I hope it doesn't turn into Miranda Lambert with 2 back up singers.
Is this how it is on all the songs they've released so far?

They could be pushing this song in particular because Miranda is on lead, but the other songs released so far are led by the other girls or split between the 3 of them. Not all of them have to sing equally in every song though... in fact, the bridge of this song is my favorite part where they sing the 3-part harmonies. Even with Miranda singing lead on this, Pistol Annies are still more of a "group" than almost any other group in country music.

Let me rephrase that what I meant was that every song I have heard has had the 3 of them pretty evenly split solo lines in the song ("Hush Hush" and "Hell on Heels"), so that's why this came off as a shock for me at least.

Are "Hell on Heels" and "Hush Hush" the only two songs you've heard from them? Because they have several songs on their albums where one person predominately sings lead, and only 1/3 of the time it's Miranda.

I've never bought any of their albums or sought after their music in general because none of it left me wanting to pursue more, and I have only seen the music videos for the songs that did have a music video with them, and on that note I completely forgot about who sang how much on "Takin Pills".

So you're saying the "unique" thing about them was them all signing equally and you based it on 2 songs you heard?
