I'm still a little shocked that they moved on from their third album so quickly, but "Natural" was really good so I guess I don't mind it.

Oh, I liked this. Not as instant as Natural, but this can surely be a grower. It remembered me of the Smoke + Mirrors album A LOT, especially "Gold" and "I'm So Sorry".

I would have preferred a MisterWives cover. That was terrible. I'll go back to the "Zero" thread now.

Their first miss this era for me. But I feel like the GP will eat this repetitive chorus up and make the song a hit down the line.

Tbh I don't think this era will be as successful as Evolve.
"Natural" is obviously a smash, however when we see the chart stats, it pales in comparison to "Believer" or "Thunder". Speaking about this song, seems like another smash to them but I don't see it replicating the success of these two singles, however a WIT level of success can be reached.
Well, maybe I'm wrong. Let's see.

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo bad oh my goshhhh. On further listens, this isn't as bad as my initial impression. I still don't like it but it's more meh than outright awful.

After reading the thread and seeing the comparisons to Smoke + Mirrors, I was expecting the worst. However, I actually like this. The verses I loved immediately. The chorus definitely through me for a loop, but as the song went on it became less jarring. Still hoping the album is more in line with "Natural," though.
