It's already showing at 15 on Mediabase, as of this mornings update. The recurrents are removed around 5 p.m. EST, so I’m expecting this one to be at #14 when that happens; chart officially finalizes tonight. Yes though, #15 on today’s rolling chart. Maren lost 25 million in total Mediabase audience, which is astounding. Keith’s for comparison lost 20 million. Omg don't mind me, I was taking away the recurrent and putting this at 16, lol.

Well I'm glad this song got its day in the #1 spot, I just hope we won't have to go so long without another female artist and/or group (mixed as well) to get to the top spot.

I’m almost certain we won’t. Carrie is definitely getting there with the way Southbound has been climbing the chart. It’s a question of how long it’ll be until we get a female #1 after Carrie peaks.

Probably nothing that's on the current chart, aside from Lindsay Ell's duet which only kind of counts. Miranda's song has been showing really excellent gains even after the hangover week that it will get up there, but...

Carrie sure looks like a lock for #1 in a few weeks with "Southbound". Beyond that Miranda Lambert has a chance to get to the top spot with "It All Comes Out In The Wash". Maren Morris with "The Bones" should be able to get towards the top of the charts. Kelsea Ballerini will have a new lead single in a few weeks, too. I wouldn't count out Ingrid Andress getting close to the penthouse with "More Hearts Than Mine", either. There is no way there should be a really long drought again with all of those songs coming... hopefully.

This should be #14 after Blake is removed from Mediabase later today. That would tie “Coming Home” by Keith Urban (feat. Julia Michaels) for biggest fall from #1 on Mediabase. It's already showing at 15 on Mediabase, as of this mornings update. Why such a freefall?

I don't think it is legal for labels to just hand radio executives money directly in exchange for airplay. But they can certainly bribe them with stuff like concert tickets to give out, merchandise, radio station tours from the artist, etc. Plus they put ads into publications like Billboard telling stations they are entering their final push week, and stations usually cooperate to give as much airplay as possible before the label gives them a new single from the artist. So, not paid specifically, but...kinda as close to being paid as is possible without handing out money... Lol
