This was a single by Italian singer Moony released in 1998. It didn't chart all that well in the U.S. but it got a lot of mixshow and Dance radio format airplay. The label that picked it up for its U.S. release was going to push it and try to get it to crossover on to Pop but that just didn't happen.

Amazing song. One of the local Pop stations at the time used to play this in their mixshows and I fell in love with it. They began to play it outside of their mixshows as well. It wasn't until a few years later that I found out this was by the same person who sang "Point Of View" and "Dove".
