He broke Taylor Swifts Nissan Stadium attendance record last night, with over 56,000 people.
Just another thing to complain about when he loses EOTY again

The "Some Of It" video is great. Hopefully it helps push the song to #1.

Enters the Mediabase Top 10 at #10 with a bullet of 128.
I am interested if this can get #1. I would normally say yes but Luke Combs is right on his tail on both charts more than likely and I have to imagine that Sony is going to try and get both Maren Morris and Luke Combs #1 and will probably have Maren Morris go first and then Luke Combs right afterwards and "Beer Never Broke My Heart" looks very likely to be a multi week #1 and I can easily see this song being one of the victims and have to settle fot a Mediabase #1 or no #1 on either chart.

I think Blake will get a couple of weeks, then Eric. Sony/Columbia will slow down Luke for Maren, and songs that climb as fast as "Beer Never Broke My Heart" did tend to slow down in the top ten anyway. Eric will get his week, then maybe a split week with Maren on Mediabase and Luke on Billboard, then Luke for a solid two weeks, then a split between Chris and Luke would be my guess.

Curious what they send out next. There aren’t a lot of radio friendly songs on the new album IMO and most of them are a similar tempo to this one. “Heart Like A Wheel” is amazing, but it leans a little to the classic rock sound that has been iffy in terms of airplay at country radio. “Monsters” could be a good choice but it’s a little on the slower side.

I'll be stunned if it's not "Heart Like A Wheel".

I like “Monsters” and “Heart Like a Wheel” both a lot so I’d be happy if it is either of those. They could throw a curveball and go with “The Snake” 🐍🐍... I like that song but the strange noise he makes is very alarming and kinda off putting.

I've been on the "Monsters" train since the song was released.

Since he usually releases one "out there" song and then one "safer" song, I'm going to bet on Heart Like a Wheel first and then maybe Monsters will follow.

I’d go Heart Like a Wheel. I’d expect that one to at least sell really well.

I see "Heart Like a Wheel" as the "Like a Wrecking Ball" of this album. A little bit bit out there for what radio normally likes, but will rack up huge sales, and probably be the biggest hit of the album cycle.

"Heart Like A Wheel" makes the most sense to be released next. I wouldn't be surprised to see them move on to a new project after that. Before that happens though, I hope that "Some Of It" can wait out "God's Country" and spend at least a week at #1.

It deserves a third week, at least. It's looking like perhaps the biggest hit of the year. It's a shame when good and deserving songs like "Some Of It" get stuck at #2 behind a mega hit, but I'll take it over the endless revolving door at the top.

What is the chance that this got two weeks at #1 on country airplay? GIRL looks like a Mediabase only #1 at this point (8m audience behind of Some Of It on Billboard) so its competitor is likely to be Beer Never Broke My Heart, but it and GIRL are from same label so pushing for latter means slowing down for the former. I guess I should see how fast God's Country and this song will drop after peaking also...

I hope Eric Church can get a #1 this time. He hasn't had one since Record Year in 2016. If Some Of It does top the chart, it will be his eighth #1 hit and I'll be able to move him from #84 to #73 on the list of those with the most #1s.

It's the biggest hit of the year except for songs that spent 7 weeks, 4 weeks, and 3 weeks at #1 already since January. I understand some people like God's Country (to me it's a bore) and prop it up, but let's be real about what the biggest songs of the year are. Perhaps the #1 song of the decade is in 2019.

You're right. I guess I'd filed that one away as 2018 because that's when it came out and when I listened to it most. By the time it was at the top this year it had burned out for me. But obviously it's a bigger hit than "God's Country".

Could "The Git Up" be #1 on the Country Songs for the year-end though?

Lol at this song losing more than 400 spins and 2 million audience today just to give GIRL a Mediabase and Billboard #1...
