So now that it’s a little ways into the year and we have a better idea of how particular songs are holding, I thought I’d make a thread for predicting what 2018 hits will end up on the 2019 year end chart as well, and where they will rank. Here are my thoughts:
Of the ones that made it onto the 2018 YE Chart:
Sicko Mode: #28 Happier: #57 Girls Like You: #49 (will probably reach the 52 week mark honestly) Eastside: #72 Better Now: #80 Youngblood: #84 Lucid Dreams: #89 Trip: #94
Of the ones that missed the 2018 YE Chart:
Thank U Next: #4 Without Me: #17 Sunflower: #11 High Hopes: #13 Drip Too Hard: #41 Zeze: #48 Mo Bamba: #39 Wake Up in the Sky: #43 (could see this hanging out for a while in the 11-20 range) Money: #67 Breathin: #69 Taki Taki: #62 MIA: #71 Leave Me Alone: #88
Everything else I didn’t list I don’t think will make the 2019 year end chart. Feel free to comment with your own predictions!

Just 340 days to go until the chart is released. Then we can find out if these will be right. Wonder if I can wait that long

thank u, next and Without Me will be in the top 10, pretty sure about this. There's no enough Radio support for Sunflower and it's not clearly a Streaming monster as God's Plan to have 30+ weeks on the chart. Agree with you about High Hopes, top 15 is very possible. Girls Like You top 40 for sure, Super Bowl is coming...also, Eastside TOP 50.

Tbh I was thinking #11-15 range for TUN....
Its first two weeks aren't included, and even though it's spent 5 more weeks #1 since the points have been like 300-400 range (using Simmnierferzig's weekly predictions), which is relatively low for a #1. It also will probably not spend anymore than 15-20 weeks top 10.
Better Now spent 18 weeks top 10, was averaging 300-400 points during its peak, and only went #13 on Year-End. Lucid Dreams spent 23 weeks top 10, was averaging 300-400 points during its peak, and only went #12 on Year-End.
I've also thought for weeks now it'll have a chart run similar to In My Feelings, but smaller. 5-10 weeks #1, and once it leaves top 5 it'll start falling quick.

Of the ones that made it into 2018: Sicko Mode: #18 Girls Like You: #34 Happier: #36 Eastside: #42 Better Now: #68 Lucid Dreams: #85 Trip: #97
Of the ones that missed 2018: Without Me: #3 Thank U, Next: #8 Sunflower: #9 High Hopes: #12 Drip Too Hard: #23 Wake Up In The Sky: #30 Zeze: #37 Money: #39 Mo Bamba: #41 Leave Me Alone: #47 Mia: #52 Taki Taki: #57 Breathin: #89
I feel like Without Me is going to serve some longevity compared to Thank U Next, considering how much of a stable big hit it has been so far. I have a gut feeling it’s going to end up super high.

Knowing how Alternative songs commonly get impressive longevity, I won't be surprised if High Hopes ends within Top 10 in the YE.
