I like this list and itβs positions make sense to me; I know that Bad Romance first reached #2 in 2009, but since it was still #2 into 2010, were you thinking of counting that into this? Also, itβs interesting to see just how fewer #2 songs there are than #1βs. I know itβs because a lot of #1 peaking songs take up the #2 position a significant amount, but I still didnβt think it would be so low!

Bad Romance has 755,119 points in the 2010s

But interesting to see Mona Lisa at the bottom!

The top 10 songs on this list have more points than various songs that peaked and STAYED at #1 for considerable amounts of time. Chart points really is the best way to size up a song's strength, dominance and run on the charts. It paints the best picture, imo.

I knew that'd it'd be weak but I thought there'd be some others I forget for being too weak haha. They probably could've pushed it as an actual single if they wanted it to be a hit though lol.

Lol Mona Lisa is the weakest #2 of all time. You might say... ...it's no masterpiece.

I thought Need You Now would be the #1 on this list... wasn't that a 2009 song too though.
EDIT Ah, just read the whole thread, never mind

I'm surprised at how low "Anaconda" ranks and how high "F*ck You" ranks.

Trap Queen, Dynamite, Stay With Me and Hotline Bling have always been mind blowing for me. They were so massive during their time and it's shocking they never went to #1

Another great job!
As people already said before, most of these songs on Top 10 (and to a lesser extent Top 20) felt like huge #1s at the time.
I'm already curious to see the list of #3, I guessing Radioactive will be on the first place LOL

I'm surprised Wild Thoughts is so low since it spent many weeks at #2 behind Despacito. Did it have a short lifespan on the Hot 100 or something?

That gap between Drunk In Love and Nonstop tho lol. Quite wide, but then put into consideration the fact that Drake released God's Plan, Nice for What, I'm Upset, In My Feelings and Don't Matter to Me as singles before releasing Nonstop as a single. Drunk in Love was the lead single off Beyoncè's self-titled album (it was released along with XO, a day apart, but it's the song that really took off between the both of them).
