I can see this at least in the top-15 maybe even top-10. They've had a lot of good reviews ever since they started with Mer De Noms, but they have a sound that seems to work with the alternative masses.

Absolutely everybody I've talked to has said that the second album doesn't match the first and I agree. (That doesn't make it bad by any means.)

This song is just blasting off. It's got almost twice the bullet of the next highest bullet and at the rate it's going it's gonna hit the top 20 in a couple of weeks.

This hasn't caught on with me yet. I was hoping for "Pet" to be the next single. Me too. "Pet" is the only other song, aside from "Weak & Powerless", that I really like off of Thirteenth Step. The rest is just average. |

I listened to tracks off of their album on Matt Pinfield's show on K-Rock a little while back. I like Pet, but I like the Noose more.

The new cd is clearly not as good as the first...The Outsider is ok but I dont think it will be a big hit. I think "Blue" would be an excellent choice for a single. I really like the sound of that song.

This is +8 at Number 28. I guess they will join Jane's Addiction as bands who couldn't go Top 20 after a big first single. Smile Empty Soul (+58 at Number 30) could do that also.

I like "The Outsider" better than "Weak And Powerless", which I thought was pretty bland, but I don't see it making my chart.

I think WAP sounds better with the context of that album. "Blue" has always been one of my favorites, and I would agree that "Pet" would be a greater single choice than "The Outsider", which I agree was better than the first single.
However, that's better than some other choices, including the two interludes, "The Package" (too long), "Vanishing", or "The Nurse Who Loved Me".
I thought the new APC album was pretty good. Unlike the first one, it's not as "first listen" or anything. But I think will continue to grow on me. Although the first might be better.

Yeah, I saw this yesterday and was completely taken by surprise. For one thing, I'd never expect so much color in a video for a song sung by Maynard James Keenan.  But this is probably one of the most tongue-in-cheek videos I've ever seen. It's probably my third favorite video of the year so far. And why is it too old for a video? It's #14 on alternative right now. If anything, a video, especially this one, will propel it. They deserve a top 10 with this song. I'm glad I'm hearing this again. I heard it in November and December and liked it, but then I never heard it afterward. I think KNDD dropped it after their switch, but they re-added it a couple weeks ago. I've heard it a few times since then. I think it's a great song. Like I said, it deserves to be top 10, especially if "Weak And Powerless" was a #1 single. |

I just figured it would have come out a little earlier. I'm glad that it came out. It should boost airplay for the song. The video is hysterical  My favorite parts: When the one girl smacks "Maynard" in the mouth and the guy saying "Come out with your tops off and your pants down  " Classic  |
