A comeback for Katy isn’t as easy as some people are making it seem. She is now a middle aged woman competing with 16 year old zygotes like Billie Eilish and the stretched fetal-tissue-over-the-face of Halsey. Perry is now the madame in a brothel of brand new, younger pop tarts. And I’m sorry, but Perry cannot sing. She was in the right place and the right time during her peak, competing with the likes of Kesha, Britney Spears, and a down on her luck Kelly Clarkson. R.I.P. Katy, time to go to Vegas and mime your hits of yesteryear. Imagine wasting like five minutes of your life to come to a thread of an artist you hate to spread hate. Your life must be so sad and boring ? You can’t possibly think it took me an entire five minutes to type that? Lighten up, you might laugh just once.

This could be her last chance to get a big hit. Shes can still get a Clear Channel deal with her lead single. We will see what happens on May 30th.

Meanwhille, I’m hoping new Katy will deliver some much needed nostalgia. Toss in the faint hope for new Rihanna and Gaga.
Can Katy be the beacon of hope for the pop Gods to deliver upon us 2011 again?

Hate to be skeptical, but while this certainly doesn't prove the title isn't real, I don't think this is a real campaign website. Most UMG web properties these days (Halsey's www.nightma.re/, for example) include links to their TOS and Privacy Policy in the footer, neither of which this has, and they generally include Google Tag Manager or Appreciation Engine scripts. It also includes almost no metadata for things like an image or description when sharing the site to social media, which I'd be hard-pressed to believe UMG's digital team (or a contractor working with them) would leave out. Also, a WHOIS lookup of the website domain indicates that rather than using UMG's name servers (umusic.com or emihosting.com), it comes from what appears to be a web hosting company from Brazil (because of course). Lastly, Facebook search indicates no users named Roger Melly with that profile picture, and you can search for closed groups, but there isn't one called UMG Group (US and UK), which makes me wonder if someone created or briefly renamed another group to make it look like it was UMG-affiliated.

Oh, it really does look fake. But let's wait for the announcement. If it's really coming May 31, it's close.

Katy is not relevant on pop these days. Con Calma sounds like a summer hit if radio picks it up more. Heard it on KHKS this weekend sounded great. She should let that smash then release in the fall. Her age will effect her on radio unfortunately. I liked Witness it was deep and not silly a la This is how we do....

You're right, UMG(I) don't use this type of group at all. And I agree that this certainly doesn't prove the title isn't real.

Produced by Zedd & Dreamlab... the chorus reminds me of 365... Got those insider secrets eh? Does it have more hit potential than 365? Cause seeing how 365 flopped, that doesn't sound promising.

I hope this is an uptempo track. I’m not sure how I feel about Zedd on this because he’s been hit or miss with me on his previous works as of late.

I loved 365 but I hope its something different sound wise, Zedd is a talented producer but recently he's been stuck in a rut when it comes to evolving his sound

Mmm. Zedd is getting kind of boring and "365" was OK but a minor entry in her discography... we'll see.

Why do they highlight NRO in first paragraph?

I guess I can update (and confirm) the title of the song because it was revealed by an insider, who works at Universal Music, in a Spanish forum. The track has been described as a pop hit, which begins slowly and it explodes later (I assume when the chorus begins). It doesn't have any latin influences, it's not a midtempo and it's 100% enjoyable. The spanish term that was used was 'disfrutón', so I think 'enjoyable' fits better in the translation.
