I hope Warner is able to finagle a #1 peak for this somehow, but it's looking more and more likely like this one will get blocked from the top as Blake Shelton's mega hit continues to vastly out-gain Ingrid after passing her. :/ I put this in the chart thread, but I suspect Warner will be able to finagle mediabase at least. They actually have three songs in a row, so they have a bit of control of the charts, including two big hits.

Yeah they should get a Mediabase #1 out of this but Billboard looks very unlikely at this rate as even "Beer Can't Fix" is starting to close the gap, frustrating but even getting #1 on one chart is good enough for me and this song is still an overall success and I (and I assume everyone else here) would still consider this a #1 song even if it ends up getting probably blocked on Billboard by Blake Shelton/Gwen Stefani and maybe Gabby Barrett block it on Billboard.

I suppose I *could* see them pushing two weeks for Gabby and two weeks for Blake, leaving Ingrid in the dust... but it seems they would receive much better buzz/praise for debuting two female artists and getting BOTH to #1.

There's a whole bunch of big hits lined up right behind the 3 Warner singles though and I imagine that country radio isn't going to drop Blake from #1 immediately once it gets there given the kind of hit that "Nobody but You" has been, so I felt like the only chance Ingrid had was to follow Gabby to the top ahead of him. It's possible that she steals one of his weeks at #1 on MB maybe, but there's like 4 other mega hits that are gonna be knocking on the door of #1 soon, and it doesn't help that her gains are so small as Blake continues to pull farther ahead.

My guess is Warner will push Gabby in two weeks (after Brettt Young next week), then Ingrid, then Blake. And they will attempt to jump Blake for that one week on mediabase, and either Gabby or Blake will block her from billboard. They will then probably try to hold Blake for a couple weeks after.

This ended up moving into the Top 40 in BB100! Even if it doesn’t go number one, the only solo country female songs I can think of going too forty in the last few years are Peter Pan, The Bones, and now I Hope. Ingrid is in good company!

Looks like this will be the week Warner Music Nashville maxes "More Hearts than Mine."
I'm sure they have the Mediabase #1 in mind but both charts will be hard, obviously. "Nobody But You" will likely get 2-3 weeks atop Billboard before Big Loud maxes "Chasin' You."
Warner Music Nashville would LOVE to be the label that gets two debut female artist singles #1, in back-to-back weeks. That's never happened as far as I know, at least since the inception of the airplay chart in January of 1990. Even if it's just on Mediabase, that would be an achievement.

Oh I am so nervous for this song's #1 chances specifically Billboard just because it is up against "Nobody But You", I know both songs are on the same label, but "Nobody But You" is testing so well and is also outselling "More Hearts Than Mine" even that country radio may just keep hiking up it's airplay. I imagine on Billboard on tonight there is about a 4 million audience gap, which is probably only doable if Warner and Country Radio slow down "Nobody But You" this week as in straight up just stop it cold.
Fingers crossed Ingrid can get a #1 on both charts, but I am not optimistic. Regardless afterwards I hope they go for "The Stranger" for the second single.

If warner slows down NBY enough wonder if I Hope gets a second week on bb I can legit see any of the three getting the Billboard #1 next Monday, time will tell but right now this feels like a total crapshoot of who gets it next week (I do think Ingrid does get Mediabase though)

Are the singles by Ingrid, Gabby & Blake pretty close together in sales?

Are the singles by Ingrid, Gabby & Blake pretty close together in sales? Blake/Gwen and Gabby are usually a decent amount ahead of it but this one has still held its own. I hope it sneaks into the #1 spot.

I thought they’d wait a little more...especially until after Blake/Gwen because that is apparently when Thomas will be hosting CCUSA/maxing spins.
I don’t see a #1 happening on either charts but a Top 3 is attainable and will be a fantastic achievement!

The co-hosting doesn’t 100% of the time line up either, and someone has to co-host since a debut single will be pushing. They had to max before Blake. It’s by far the older song with a higher burn. This push should be big since Warner’s staff is focusing all their energy on it (from what I was told),

I’m hoping this can pull through as it would be historic and the first time since the 40’s two debut singles made it to #1 back to back.

What the f**k.
This is #1 on Mediabase. I’m shocked. How did the label manage to leapfrog over Blake Shelton?
Shocked.
WE HAVE TWO FEMALE #1 DEBUTS BACK-TO-BACK!

How long has it been since that happened?! EDIT: The last time we had two female artists back to back as lead artists at #1 were "A Little Bit Stronger" by Sara Evans and "Heart Like Mine" by Miranda Lambert in 2011, can't find a debut though.

This is what it looks like at MediaBase:
5 1 INGRID ANDRESS More Hearts Than Mine 8158 7157 1001 47.823
For the record, there has never been two female debut singles to top the chart back to back, unfortunately.

As seak05 mentioned, Ingrid and Blake are on the same label. Warner Nashville asked radio conglomerates and stations to slow the conversions for “Nobody But You” while they pushed “More Hearts than Mine” to #1. This is the first time that back-to-back solo female artists with debut singles are #1. I don’t see Ingrid making up enough audience to land #1 on Billboard Airplay on Monday but still a terrific accomplishment.

The current update shows TEN spins difference between this song and "Nobody But You". Unreal. Congratulations, Ingrid! This song is a real hit.

I was speaking with one of my local DJs (major market station) earlier this week and he mentioned that they were trying to push the song to #1 this week. I’d already known they were pushing “More Hearts Than Mine” for max spins, but I completely overlooked that Ingrid and Blake are label mates. Makes perfect sense! ETA: Do you see Blake taking the #1 on BB on Monday? I’m assuming “I Hope” won’t hold that spot for a second week, but I also don’t have access to that specific chart.

I’m projecting “Nobody But You” to be #1 on Billboard Country Airplay on Monday. There’s a slight chance Ingrid takes it but Blake should be #1 on that chart. He started 5.0 million ahead of Ingrid on Mediabase and while Ingrid has gained 5.0 million this tracking week, Blake’s gained 1.5 million himself. Billboard audience numbers usually skew lower than Mediabase updates, so it’ll be very difficult for Ingrid to make up that difference.

I am so glad this song got the attention it deserves, and even more glad for the back to back #1 for female artists. This has been a personal favourite for a while, hopefully whatever they release next is a success as well
