Linkin Park goes to 4 weeks at #1. Somebody else is going to need one last push or LP'll be there for quite a while, as the top ten has no triple-digit gainers. Blink-182 is falling, and 3 Days Grace, Switchfoot, and The RHCP are leveling out. I'd say most capable are The Offspring or Puddle Of Mudd, but I don't think they'll get there.
I can't believe how under the radar Hoobastank's song has been. It may not even make the top 10.
The bottom is finally dropping out from under P.O.D., OutKast, and The Strokes.
STP's career-ending #20 peak is eyes-wateringly sad.
Finger Eleven's singles: Quicksand: DNC Suffocate: Top 50 (barely) First Time: DNC Drag You Down: DNC Bones & Joints: DNC One Thing: #31 and rising
I don't understand it.
I also don't know how "Behind Blue Eyes" is leaping up the chart after all this time.
Evanescence and The Crystal Method are going to debut. Brand New is going to re-enter with their first single that's outperforming the second single. It was only like 2 months ago that you needed over 400 plays to hit the top 50 and now Seether is going to hang onto the chart by a fingernail (for the third straight week) with under 240 plays.
And there goes RCA once again waiting way tooo long to release a Dave Matthews single.
How did The Lostprophets end up with 14 pre-impact adds.
Songs I haven't heard: Godsmack "Re-align", The Darkness "I Believe In A Thing Called...". Whoa, that's it.

That Crystal Method song is actually really good. It reminds me of "Murder," sonically.

Was that the song with Scott Weiland that you liked so much last year?

I'm suprised Jet hasn't been highlighted here yet.
Jet has the second strongest bullet on the chart currently (second only to lostprophet's "Last Train Home") at +246, and I think they will be the first to replace "Numb" from the top of the tally. Of course, Three Days Grace's spin gains on Active Rock may help give them longevity that may possibly last long enough to replace Linkin Park, but I see Jet outpacing them before they have the chance to go #1.
My only other major thought here is what the heck is up with Limp Bizkit? How many weeks has "Behind Blue Eyes" been on the chart already? It's getting adds on particularly every format, I don't get it.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton
