US Apple Music Top Songs 1 NEW Chris Brown - No Guidance (feat. Drake)
Chris's new single two months ago with Nicki/G-Eazy didn't even reach top 100 on Apple Music. The Drake stimulus.
Jonas Brothers streaming kinda underwhelming. Only Human should debut top 40 maybe.

I expect No Guidance to have a really low debut on Spotify through the weekend, but pick up throughout the rest of the tracking week and so on.

Is it kinda weird that I think Drake can topple Old Town Road?

Is it kinda weird that I think Drake can topple Old Town Road? That's not happening. Surely not with No Guidance. A lead single, maybe.

If it's from Drake as a lead, it could be possible. But for now, there's nothing that can stop Old Town Road (unless bad guy or Talk or any new releases)

It's just a matter of when he'll be releasing it. My best guess is sometime after the Toronto Raptors win the NBA finals, but who knows? We'll have to wait and see.

I seriously doubt No Guidance is going to #2, it's going to have too much AM/Spotify dissonance to make it that high. Speaking of AM/Spotify dissonance, I can't be the only one who finds it funny that Please Tell Me went #1 on AM and #194 on Spotify on its first day.
Edit: I very clearly cannot read, PTM is at #47 on US Spotify.

I just want Drake to score another top 10 hit.

Maybe the song to replace OTR at #1 could be The Git Up.

It seems unlikely at this point, BUT I want Tyga to have an album bomb. His recent stuff is fire, idkw only Taste stroke gold. Kream, Goddamn, Low key, Swish, Light it up, Startender are all bops. His album sounds good to me as well, at least better than Future's.

Shallow top ten on iTunes again! Any particular reason why?? I don't mind but I thought it was in the mid 20's at one point recently. EDIT: Found the answer. The HBO premier.

OT: I know cable channels set the movie premiere schedules months in advance and all, but my goodness, the timing with A Star Is Born could not have worked out better for HBO! It would be fun if the thing to topple Old Town Road is something equally unpredictable.

Given that nothing released Friday is posing anything even close to a challenge, it's safe to say OTR is pretty much locked for an 11th week. We can start getting really serious into the all-time record discussion. The only thing I could see interrupting OTR would be a really big release like Drake or Adele's lead single, but it might interrupt it for only 1 or 2 weeks and OTR could easily return and still break the record.

It doesn't appear that any of the albums released this week will produced a bomb this week. The only that could potentially have done so was Future's, but songs from it aren't doing well in Spotify.

Old Town Road is on lock for #1 until July guaranteed, I'm just choosing to ignore it so it goes away faster hopefully. Anyways, I'm happily enjoying the new Katy song and eating well.

I really believe that at this point, Old Town Road is really about to be #1 long enough to tie or break the record. It's still getting a hundred million streams a week, it's going #1 on radio soon, I think, PLUS the EP he's about to drop this month

It'd be added to: - most top 20s - most top 40s He is also edging towards passing Glee Cast's most charting songs on Hot 100.

As far as his features are concerned, that's really all I care about: them possibly reaching the top 10 and extending his record and them counting as an extra entry so he can surpass GLEE for most Hot 100 entries. He drops an album now and he breaks both records FOR SURE, but since we don't know when next we'll be getting another album from him, the features will have to do, lol.

Rihanna still hasn't finished her album and can't find time to record it... she really is done with music isn't she? I'm accepting R9 is never coming now.

She's doing all these magazine interviews, being asked basically the same questions and she hasn't shared any new information, especially about her forthcoming album. Seems like she's just doing the interviews for the photoshoots. I think R9 will come. It'll just be a lot later than any of us expect. Might not drop till Q4 2019, maybe even later than that.

Rihanna's new Fenty clothing line with LVMH is the reason she's been doing press and magazine interviews. Of course interviewers will probably ask her about upcoming music every chance they get, but that's not what she's promoting, nor is there probably much to talk about yet. My thing is, how many interviews does she have to do about that exactly? She's done several already. I doubt her latest profile with Interview Magazine was about Fenty. She isn't revealing anything that isn't already out there. Countless publications profiles Fenty when it came out and wrote extensive pieces. Right now, she's just doing interviews for the photoshoots or at least, that's how it seems. The only thing about that is that she isn't revealing anything new about ANYTHING, which is meant to be the point about profiles/interviews, right? That's all I'm saying.

She can do as many interviews as she wants and if it’s focused on “FENTY” then so be it. She’s literally the Richest Female Musician in the World as of now and that’s mostly due to the success of her external ventures. Let’s face it, financially speaking, the music industry is a dying market. I GUARANTEE that we’re only going to get one or two more albums from Rihanna in the 2020’s, and that applies to Beyoncé and the likes. They’re moving on, as sad as it is to say. P.S. The majority of these interviews with her that are only now being released took place between February and April. The ‘Interview’ spread took place back in April also. She’s been in the studio for the majority of May finalising the album. Trust me... I think she’s releasing in July/August. Perhaps even later this month.

Financially speaking the music industry has enjoyed more growth than it has seen in years thanks to streaming revenue
