I just received this dance mix by Hommer. It's a nice house mix. :)

Yeah, that Hommer mix works. I like that it highlights her vocals. She does sound great in a house mix... well, she did at least, in the past when she was with Wild Orchid and got remixed by Junior on Talk To Me.

I wish she would sing the way she did then.

There is also a nice remix (basically extended LP version) on the newest issue of Hot Tracks revived Mainstream Dance series. Check it out it's not bad!

Why are there no official remixes for this one. Ive heard unofficial remixes in the club and they sound great. Im surprised that they didnt work this one to the clubs a la Natasha Beddingfields "Unwritten."

The Hommer mix is amazing! If they released that mix alone it would hit the chart!

Jason Nevins has posted a rather average remix on his MySpace page. It's a bit more up tempo than the original but nothing too exciting. It might grow on me. www.myspace.com/jasonnevins According to Jason's most recent MySpace blog... " Check out the first song in the player- FERGIE "BIG GIRLS DONT CRY". Jason exclusive Z-100 Remix is in rotation at Z-100 WHTZ N.Y. You will be hearing it at other Clear Channel stations as well. But you heard it first at Z-100 ! Keep checking back for big news coming soon........ "

There is a bootleg mix that uses some elements from the Todd Terry Mix of "Missing" by Everything But The Girl. There seemed to be some issue with the keys and how it was overlapped so it is rather painful to listen to.

I dont get why Fergie doesnt really get the remix treatment for her hits. Its not like her fanbase would be against dance remixes.
I believe that only "Glamorous" had remixes off of her multi-hit album.
I wonder why she doesnt embrace clubland, maybe she wants to pretend to be more street.

I'm still waiting for Solar City's remix, which sounded really promising.
Her new single almost has the potential to be the next Hurt.. they really should give this a try, and do something better than Glamorous, which was pretty average in terms of mixes..

The next single is "Labels Or Love" which is from the forthcoming Sex And The City movie, and her re-release of The Dutchess. The new song is an uptempo. The song is a mixture of "Fergalicious" and "Glamorous." Solar City could totally do that one.

BTW...totally not worthy of it's own thread...Almighty has done a cover of this track...with house vocalist Jamie Knight ("Shut Up and Drive", "2 Hearts") handling the vocals.

Almighty has done a cover of this track handling the vocals. Mishandling, perhaps? It's another "mighty" big mess of a cover.

Were either the Hommer or Jason Nevins remixed ever released publicly?

I don't think so. It's really too bad, I dig the Hommer mix and drop it every once in a while when a crowd isn't feeling new tunes.

Maybe a fan-made CDR? Lol
Wikipedia bugs the crap out of me. Every once in a while I'll do a search for a specific remixer and then wiki will pop up saying they've remixed some bad ass song, but it always turns out to be some sad fan-boy who wishes they'd remix it. Ugh!
For the unofficial side, which it seems is all Fergie Ferg gets, DJ Ray did a mix, stays true to the original and makes it a little whimsical. The only thing, it sounds like pure dance cheese. There's something so insanely campy about it, but I just wanted a heads up for everyone.
