or
A year ago I would have easily gone with "Into You" (as I expect most will here) but "breathin" has really grown on me! Both songs have slow builds and explosive choruses but I relate to the subject matter of "breathin" better.

"breathin"
It was instant love for me then, and I still love it now. That crescendo is magical. "Into You" is cool and all, and I really like it, make no mistake, but the way most people here at Pulse (and elsewhere, actually) proclaim it as the ultimate pop gem... eh!

Both of these aren't even close to her best but out of these 2 I will choose Breathin.

Lol not even close, who would even think that here? it's really generic and she has better.

Both these songs have really underwhelming beginning verses but become pop perfection in the final choruses. I think I like Into You more since it also has a killer bridge.

Into You wins for me, but Breathin is literally a magical pop song! the chorus is euphoric and i want to experience it live!!!

Into you has burned on me over the years, and recently I feel like it's overrated, especially on the DW album. I can't listen to it consistently anymore though it's still one of my favorites of 2016.
Breathin on the other hand had a slower start for me, but I prefer it over to IY now due to the lyrics mainly. Everything she's gone through makes it seem like the lyrics are really genuine and can even be relatable for some. Really happy this'll make the 2019 YE (hopefully), great song and much more consistent for me.

Into You's chorus is huge and undeniably one of the best of the decade. Breathin is cute but not even the best song on its album.

The power-bottom anthem, “Into You”.

Adore both but breathin is overall stronger. Both deserved better chart-wise though :/

Sucks to even have to choose between these two songs, they're both amazing, but I think I prefer Breathin. It's close though.
Upon listening to them one after that other, I'm changing my vote to Into You. They're just both so enjoyable.

“breathin”, easily. “Into You” is really good but overrated. She does have better.

Very hard choice as both are among her best. Into You was my favourite song of 2016 but I think I'm going with breathin as I can relate to the lyrics.

Into You easily
Breathin isn’t even the best song on Sweetener. The real test would be Into You vs NTLTC

"breathin," which is, btw, the best on Sweetener, imo. Of course that's a dud of an album; "God is a woman" was its only competition. Still, "breathin"'s one of her best songs, period. I liked "Into You" and it comes from her best album, but even back when DW first released, I didn't understand why it was rated *as* highly as it was.

"Into You," and it's not even close. I think "Breathin'" is boring while "Into You" is perfect pop.
