As we get further into this rankdown, there are even more big feats and whatnot that go out. #7 holds the third biggest tally for top 10s at thirteen of them. We don't see a number that high for a little while longer. Just two people ranked this bottom 10, but we see our lowest rank remaining show up on this one. Here is another song that spent all of its life inside the top 10.

Ryan Tedder doesn't have a lot of ideas ...what? This song is incredibly different than anything they had ever released until that point, and this doesn't even sound like anything Ryan Tedder had written for other people.

Minority opinion, but I prefer the Alesso vs. OneRepublic remix of "If I Lose Myself" and it doesn't mean that the original isn't great though. ^ not to mention the remix is one of my favorite songs of all time

This song is an absolute bop. This song is just pure fun from the first second to the last. Just a great bassline, instrumentation, and everything. The lyrics are a little juvenile, but I'm glad that didn't totally teeter people's thoughts on the song. Urban Cone is a great band, but it's a shame this was from their last album. #7

I like this song a little more than when I heard it in MM. It just barely fell out of my top 20 at the very end

#6 shows us our first song without any bottom 10 rankings. We see a #1 go out right now. This one stayed in the same region for the overwhelming majority of the rankdown. It only spent time at five different positions.

This song is so fu cking gut-wrenching. This is so beautifully written and crafted. You can just hear the raw emotion in this track. It's just an incredible pop song.

Tove Lo's debut album and EP were so amazing. She was on a one way ticket to being one of my favorite pop artists out there, then she just kinda fell flat for me with each of the next albums. Trust me, there are still stuff I love from her from Lady Wood and on, but for me, she has totally peaked. Truth Serum is one of my favorite pop releases of the decade. This was the one that stuck out the most to me from Queen of the Clouds, and I thought this would have been a good follow-up to "Talking Body", but instead, Island just kinda screwed up her entire career after that song, lol.

I haven't been commenting much but it sucks that OneRepublic and Betty Who are out! "If I Lose Myself" is my favourite song by the former and Betty Who is someone I've wanted to get into more, as I've really liked everything I've heard from her.

And this might be the best Tove Lo song I've heard.
You knew how to pick them, James.

This is far and away the best quality song that Jason Derulo has ever made. From top to bottom, this is just a quality pop song. I don't get the knocking and stuff in the beginning, lol, but besides that, you can't poke a hole through this song. #4

I always greatly preferred this song over "King". I'm still surprised that this song never really did anything in the US. This felt like a smash to me, but Interscope kinda poorly handled their promotion in the US. Also, this version > the one with Tove Lo.

Years & Years are an act I've always liked, but rarely loved. "Desire" is probably the song that annoys me the most that I'm not into more, because this is objectively good.
1 vs. 3
I'm coming for that b-a-s-i-c throne.
