There are 3 songs in this top 20 that I'm hoping don't make the top 10. Sadly, none of them have been revealed yet but I'll hold onto hope that at least one of them won't finish there. I'd be perfectly fine with any of the other songs making it.

Not only is this a Muse song, not only is this a song from Origin of Symmetry, but this is, by every normal sense of the definition, one of my favorite songs ever.
It's not in my top five here.

#11: The White Stripes' eternal resting place Where else were they #11? They were #10 on my RD#2. #11 with FILWAG in Alt 2002 and Icky Thump in Alt 2007. Also #12 in both Alt and Active 2003 (and #13 in the Rolling Stone RD) with Seven Nation Army.

This is about four spots higher than I expected. Outside of taking Muse out (which was inevitable), this was a not heartbreaking set before the top ten. Funnily enough, I'm probably rooting for one song outside of my top ten more than any of the songs in my top ten, because I'm surprised and glad that it got to this point. (No, it's not that one. I may have softened a bit on that song, but I haven't done a complete 180.)

One of the remaining metal songs gets eliminated next, can you guess which one?

"Maps" can go out now.
I was expecting this to miss the top ten, so it's not like this is a big shocker or anything.

Okay, Mr. "Radiohead has to be my last place in every rankdown that they're in because they won one rankdown over 'Mayonaise'". (To be fair, you could have said anything here, and I would have said this. I was tired of holding back.)

(To be fair, you could have said anything here, and I would have said this. I was tired of holding back.) Paranoid Android is a bad song even by Radiohead standards. Recent rankdown featuring Radiohead songs were not at the bottom of my list, as you should know since No Surprises was in your rankdown.

This may be true, but, as someone who would say that "No Surprises" is one of my 100 favorite songs ever, what makes "Paranoid Android" so much worse in comparison? I think they're both two of the greatest songs ever made, in much different, but equally effective ways.
