Oh wow, this entire thing happened. Tbh, Tanya is not one of my favorite country females. Her voice could literally never be even slightly mistaken for anything "beautiful"... However, after checking her out more with this album, she seems to have the ability to connect to emotions through grit, which is a bit of a lost art in the modern country music industry. Tanya represents an older, simpler generation of superstars, and it is clear that what she used to be good at, she is still VERY good at!! Her voice really does not seem to have aged even a day! This album is not my kind of album, but it is still very well-done. I can see why it has the Grammy acclaim. "Bring My Flowers Now", in particular, is an incredible song! It is not the type of song I feel compelled to listen to over and over from a melodic standpoint, but the lyrics are SO simple and well-crafted and poignant that they deserve recognition. It was the deserving winner. I wish Tanya all the success she can get with this album, and I am glad that she was finally able to give this to her fans after so many years of waiting. Thanks for hosting someguy!
