Thought I'd create a thread for this now that the WW video for the song is finally unblocked. Lead single from Leona's second album Echo, was used heavily in trailers for the movie Precious. Can't believe it's been 10 years since this was released!

I know it might be a minority opinion, but I adore this song. It was one of those first listen immediate reactions for me. Gorgeous.
The thing is I found Leona's first album disappointing aside from the singles and a couple of tracks even though I liked her vocals. I had planned not to buy anything else by her because of that, but then this came out and I fell in love with it. So I ended up buying Echo anyway, and thankfully it was much better than Spirit. Glassheart was even better and I Am is around the same level as Echo. If it wasn't for this song, I probably wouldn't have followed her career all these years.

How weird, it came on shuffle earlier and I realized I hadn't listened to it in a while...
I remember really anticipating the lead single of her sophomore album. I couldn't wait to hear what she would come out with after the massive success of "Bleeding Love" and getting a hit album with her debut. And then this dropped and I was like "Okaaaay, this is... cute?" It sounded like another "Halo" clone initially — and I still think it sounds quite similar production-wise to that song and "Already Gone" (thanks, Ryan Tedder!), which was annoying for me because I didn't like either song — but it really grew on me and I loved it with time. I also really liked Echo.

This was really a misstep. They really dropped the ball trying to market her heavily as a balladeer. She should've had an upbeat lead single for the 2nd album at least, since they refused to release one from the debut.
