LMAO this one was really buried..... Time to revive it!!!!! The deadline for this one, March 7th, is exactly 2 weeks away. I'd possibly be open to extending it a little further, but let's see how many people submit lists now that I'm reviving this before we decide whether or not to extend :) Just like the #1s rankdown, this is a rankdown where most country posters should already know at least 80-90% of these songs without even having to listen, because they are either all-time classics or Pulse favorites. The best thing to do is work on this one and BotB in one big push, like in the same night if you can, so you don't have to work up the motivation to do two fairly large lists on two separate occasions!!

So even though the deadline is technically tomorrow, I want to finish revealing BotB before I start this one. So I will not "extend" this one per se, like giving it a new deadline and stuff. I think I will post a last call and then say that I will still accept lists until I am done revealing for BotB  So you'll probably get at least another 3-4 days out of me!

I preferred the second "Revenge" list more than the second "Best" list, but complete opposite with these third ones. My #1 here (which will do terrible lol) probably wouldn't even be in my top ten on the Best list.

I always feel like the Revenge list is a bit more exciting than the Best list. At least as somebody who participates in all the rankdowns and also has a pretty strong foundational knowledge of country music, I appreciate the fact that we tend to get a few more album tracks and unexpected hits in the Revenge rankdown, whereas BotB is almost always a showdown of the songs that we all knew were going to win rankdowns anyway. The unexpected winners like "The Matador" are few and far between.

Although the increase in album series has helped to add more variety to the Best list too (again, see "The Matador"!), which is helping the BotB rankdowns to be a bit less predictable and more fun too!
