Lady Antebellum - "Heart Break" Maren Morris - "80s Mercedes" Kelsea Ballerini - "I Hate Love Songs" Carrie Underwood - "Love Wins" (it sounded like a huge hit when I first heard it...) Kenny Chesney - "Better Boat" Tim McGraw - "Thought About You" Darius Rucker - "Straight to Hell" Radio remains trash for not making all of these at least top 5 hits

Riley Green - "I Wish Grandpas Never Died" Tbh this is probably the huge song in his career. If he insists on releasing In Love By Now it would be climbing to top 10 in 40+ weeks I feel like, and he would still be a faceless male.

In my heart (and my Spotify account’s Top 100 Songs of 2016, 2017. 2018, AND 2019) “80s Mercedes” by Maren Morris was a multi-week #1 and true gift to society,

These have already been mentioned, but I really want to emphasize "Summer" by Cassadee Pope and "Next Boyfriend" by Lauren Alaina. Two ridiculous casualties of 2015 country radio...

Josh Abbott Band ft. Carly Pearce - Wasn't That Drunk The label wasn't strong enough to work this higher than top 40, unfortunately. It was off Reviver's short-lived 1608 service. At least it did something at mainstream though. My pick is "If I Don't Make It Back" by Tracy Lawrence. I know he was at the end of his run at at a major label (Mercury Nashville) but that song is so good I though it be a hit. He was less than two years removed from "Paint Me a Birmingham." That song never really got a shot, either.

(Not really for JAB because they never entered airplay chart ever since)

I remember 5 years ago (when I first really began diving deep into country music and the charts) and 3 songs were stuck in the 40s and 30s.
Mo Pitney's "Country" Jana Kramer's "I Got The Boy" Mickey Guyton's "Better Than You Left Me"
I wanted all three to be huge, successful hits. Only one ended up leaving the 30s and becoming a semi-hit.

Runaway June - "Head Over Heels" I thought coming off "Buy My Own Drinks" with such a radio-friendly tune could carry them into the top 20 again but instead it spent weeks stuck in the 40s :'(
Kelsea Ballerini - "homecoming queen?" I thought this was going to be Kelsea's big moment that took her to the next level - but instead it peaked in the teens.
