If I'm not mistaken this would be the first time in quite a few weeks where the #1 album in the Billboard 200 would have managed to have less than 1k in pure sales.

Would this be the longest stint between #1 since DAMN. went #1 again after 17 weeks?

^Actually, that happened during the week that Dummy Boy was #2. Astroworld had a merch bundles for Cyber Bundles that helped it edge the former.

Would this be the longest stint between #1 since DAMN. went #1 again after 17 weeks? If I'm checking correctly, it actually managed 11k in pure sales that week.

I think I got my answer: Hoodie SZN's third non-consecutive week at #1 on the February 16, 2019 chart Billboard. It also managed to sell less than 1k in pure sales as a #1 in the chart dated 3 weeks prior.

Hmm, the margin of error is close enough that Gaga could edge out a second week at #1, though her drop will be quite large and more than what I would have liked to see, which will be around 80%.

Incredible that those 3-5k of pure sales are pushing The Weeknd 3-4 spots. Streams are so close!

^It's all rap artists. That's what they sell. Their fans stream. They don't buy albums. It's the new music business.

Don't the final numbers for the week come out on Friday? I don't see anything on the website.

Last time we didn't get the final update on friday was in April. The Weeknd's second week at #1. It was very close with 5SOS (they had bundles - which caused probles to calculate with 100% accuracy). HitsDD wrote this "We're still stewing in triple overtime as we wait to declare a #1 on last week's Top 50 chart."
The chart came out Saturday at around 10p.m. EDT (2 a.m. GMT)
Since Gaga had new bundles mid week, most likely the battle between Chromatica & My Turn is within the margin of error.
tl;dr: We have to wait another day for the chart.

Still no chart. I read on Twitter that Gaga had sold 6k on Thursday alone thanks to new bundling... Might be true, might be false, but interesting!

What's the logic of not publishing the chart when it is close? Are they afraid of Gaga fans getting mad at them if it's incorrect?... Casual viewers and industry people won't get mad if they're off since we're well aware of the differences with Billboard numbers weekly.
Also, why do they act like #3-#50 don't exist and people aren't interested in seeing them lol.

Well, I won't be mad if Gaga is not #1, My Turn is one of the biggest albums this year after all. It's just too exciting!

HITS might not have the bundle figures. They have to get that info directly from the label.

^It will interesting to see if this holds up for the Billboard 200. So, My Turn's SPS were almost 98.4% SEAs, which might be the highest % to date if it were #1 and 320 could be the lowest pure sales for that as well unless something like Views managed to have higher and lower numbers, respectively.
