One of the biggest country albums of the 1990s, Mary Chapin Carpenter released Come On Come On in 1992. The album produced 7 country radio singles ("I Feel Lucky", "Not Too Much To Ask", "Passionate Kisses", "The Hard Way", "The Bug", "He Thinks He'll Keep Her", "I Take My Chances"). The album sold over 4 million copies, won multiple Grammy and CMA awards and, interestingly enough, saw its biggest hits with its 6th and 7th singles. Both "He Thinks He'll Keep Her" and "I Take My Chances" reached #2 on Billboard's country singles chart, which was higher than any other singles from the album.

This was maybe the first country music album I ever loved. I got pulled in with "I Feel Lucky" but then ended up loving the entire album.
I still use the saying, "Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug" lol
In terms of it having so many singles with most if not all of them doing well, it deserves some of the praise Shania gets for her albums in the back half of the 1990s.

Definitely. This was probably the first album to have so many singles (7) and had them all do well. There will still some album tracks that should have been released.
