Does this have an adds date yet? Surprise, surprise, this is my next favorite song on the record, and ultimately, this may end up being the better song. This will propel them right back into the Top 10. Oh yeah, and Ian explains the alteration to the title here: www.theprp.com/oldnews/4111102.shtmlIt's in with the news for 3-20-04.

This is the one I was hoping to be the next single. I was a bit worried when I saw "I Don't Know" on the sticker as a featured song... it's not a bad song, but not one of the best. But does anyone else notice a similarity with "Open Your Eyes" by Goldfinger on the "wake up" part?

I'm of the belief that Burn Burn should be the next single.
That song is uber catchy.

This isn't bad, but I don't love it. "Last Train Home" is much better.

Personally, I would've prefered "Burn Burn" as the next single, but this song's great also. I'm also kinda glad they didn't release "I Don't Know" like it was a featured track in the album sticker. The song isn't one of the better songs on the album. So... my copy of the album will be worth $50 now?

Ah. At the concert I attended last night, Ian said loud and clear "This song's called "Wake Up"". And I just kind of laughed for a second, thinking maybe he didn't know the name of his own song.
(they are the greatest live act who ever lived, btw.)

F**kin' crash, posting while I was typing my note, makin' me go back and re-edit to include dragoneyez' quote for clarity's sake. ;) So... my copy of the album will be worth $50 now? Unless I'm mistaken, 50p is roughly a buck.

That's awesome news. This is my favorite song on the album. I love it so much that I already debuted it on my personal chart a few weeks ago, before I had any idea that it would be the next single. Hopefully this'll give them another #1 on the alternative chart. :)
