released on may 20, 2019. it was a sleeper hit, peaking at #12 on the hot 100 in 2020 and finished at #9 on the 2020 year-end, becoming the first song to finish in the top 10 of the hot 100 ye without peaking in the top 10 since paula cole's "i don't want to wait" in 1998. in addition to that, it peaked at #1 on hot ac and #13 on pop.

I love this song, and I'm happy it hit big last year. I remember seeing it get sent to Pop radio in May 2019 and it didn't go anywhere until early 2020 and seeing it blow up was awesome.

Love this song. I think the storytelling is beautiful, and her vocals and melodies are truly outstanding.

Love both versions of this, but I especially enjoy the Hozier version. Their vocals sound so good together!

I believe I liked this song from the first time I heard it, but it grew on me more with more listens. My friend who I lived with at the time was into Country music and it was a song we both could listen to together. I grew to like Country a lot more living with her.
