#7 Playing with Fire (ft. Jordan Sparks)
Total: 101
Average: 8.41 Std Dev: 4.98
CLD's ThoughtThis is a great duet song, and I am pleasantly surprised that I am not the only one who likes this song over the one with Danielle. While I like Dani as a singer better, Jordan's vocal soudns more powerful in this song, and the harmony overall is great. I also prefer the heavier production of this version, it somewhat delivers the sense of urgency. This version of this song reminds me of Can't Keep Waiting by Autumn Hill ( what happened to their RD castleoblivion26 ?).

#6 The Day You Stop Looking Back
Total: 87
Average: 7.25 Std Dev: 3.96
CLD's ThoughtThis is a fine ballad song with decent lyrics. It is rather forgettable among his other ballad songs with stronger melodies, I still enjoy this tune when it comes on, mostly due to the pleasant chorus melody. A little surprised that this outlasted Star Of The Show, for instance, as it has a similar vibe, and I thought Star Of The Show would do better being a radio single and having stronger melody, granted weaker lyrics.

#5 Playing with Fire (ft. Danielle Bradbery)
Total: 86
Average: 7.17 Std Dev: 4.17
CLD's ThoughtI was more familiar with the original version, and as much as I like Danielle as a vocalist, for this song, Jordin Sparks outperformed her. Weird thing to say as a country poster, but also the production of the pop version sounded superior to this version.

#4 Like It's The Last Time
Total: 83
Average: 6.92 Std Dev: 4.44
CLD's ThoughtThis song has such a strong chorus melody, and it would have been a perfect radio single to follow-up Die A Happy Man, instead of T-Shirt. Lyricsa are not too special, but everytime I hear this melody, I was surprised that this managed to remain as an album track. Overall, happy that this ended up becoming one of the highest performing album tracks.

#3 Learned It From the Radio
Total: 75
Average: 6.25 (3rd Lowest) Std Dev: 3.17
CLD's ThoughtThis is by far my favourite album track from this album, and I am happy to see it ending up as the highest performing album track. The verse is pretty good, chorus melody is perfect, and although the theme of "young boy learning from radio" is not unique to this song, I still enjoy the lyrics. I truly wish that this was released as a radio single over Vacation.

With 1 point difference, the second single Die A Happy Man defeated the first single Crash And Burn! CAB received three #1 rankings, while DAHM received four #1 rankings. On the other hand, if we look at the top 3 rankings, CAB received the total of eight top 3 rankings, which is more than DAHM of five rankings. .indulgecountry 's #13 ranking to CAB was a big deciding point of this outcome, and these two songs were tying until the last submission from tim . Both songs managed to climb up to #1 on Country Airplay chart. CLD's Thought I love both songs!! Crash And Burn is a catchy iconic bop, and it was a strong lead single. I was as big of TR fan as I am now back in his debut album era, so I would say the release of CAB was the turning point that made me pay more attention to his music. Interesting that Stapleton is the co-writer and background singer of this tune, and kinda wish that Stapleton's solo materials are as catchy as CAB tbh. Not surprised that DAHM ended up winning, but it was a closer game than I expected. DAHM is a signature l love song with a beautiful melody and beautiful lyrics. I usually listen to the duet version, but the original version is also beautifully done. Expected and great top 2.

Well damn that was too close for comfort. Glad I tanked "Crash and Burn," lmao. Realistically, I had no idea it would be even close; I thought "Die a Happy Man" would wipe the floor with this RD.

Thanks 🌺CountryLineDancer for a great rankdown. A not surprising top 2, glad to see C&B put in a good fight. Looking forward to the next one.

Forgot to post this!! Closing Thought:
Thanks for participating in the first revival of this series. As a fan of TR, I am happy to be the reviver of this series, and as a host, I enjoyed revising this album. Since I was not the biggest fan of his debut album and singles, this album was the first album of his that I paid a close attention to, and I still remember the debut single Crash And Burn as the first song of his that I added in my playlist. The fun of revising this album is that unlike his other eras, this era has many questionable single choices, if you ask me, meaning there are quite a few strong album tracks that did not see the radio and are usually forgotten, unless I visit the entire album. It was pleasant to re-encounter those strong album tracks, and at the same time, every time I listen to those tracks, I scratch my head over the single choices. I am hoping to keep hosting this series, and Life Changes is coming soon! Final Result

Got my list in. I never listen to Thomas Rhett, but I always forget just how dreadful his music is when I attempt to listen to one of his full albums for these. Not sure why he has this affinity for these half-baked funk songs, but they certainly are songs that... exist.

As Thomas Rhett’s hair growing longer,my tolerance for his music grows lower
I mean up until Country Again,he has a few good songs Life Changes and Center Point Roard(why ain’t them send the title track to radio and give Kelsea another No.1!!!?) are my favorites and his voice is not thick also he is kinda cute the persona he’s built ,devoted husband loyal to his wife is better than those country male artists But from Where It Started especially slow down summer Half of Me is just ... you might as well re-record Beer Can’t Fix and send to radio again it’s boring after boring I did not bother to listen to his latest single

Reveal Time!!
Opening Thought: Sorry about the delay; my life got extremely busy in March. I had to fly out to Edmonton for a week for a client, and its deadline has been really tight. And I had a few concerts that I was attending as well (Ashley McBryde and Timmy/Carly)! Enough about me; this album was released in 2017 with 5 radio singles, all of which came from the original album, despite the release of the deluxe album. All the singles went to #1 on the radio chart, both in US and Canada. Marry Me was the most impactful hit with its #30 peak on Billboard Hot 100. Personally, I like this album to the same degree as Tangled Up; better than his debut, but not as good as CPR/Country Again. Without further ado, let's dive in!

#17 "Country Gold"
Total: 136
Average: 15.11 Std Dev: 4.23
gardyfan - 4 .indulgecountry - 15 kluen - 16 austin - 16 zaclord 🌈 - 17 someguy - 17 tim - 17 bboat11 - 17 🌺CountryLineDancer - 17The first song to exit is Country Gold. This song was not well-received by most participants, except for gardyfan , who lost the top 5 song right off the bat. Five participants scored the perfect ranking. This is also one of three tracks from the deluxe album. Please note that I cannot find the official audio of those deluxe tracks, so I am attaching the random upload from a non-official account. CLD's ThoughtNot keen on the vibe of this song at all. This sounds like a failure song from Bruno Mars. Melody and production also sounds quite messy.
