"Savage" is the newest single from K-Pop group aespa from their debut mini album of the same name. They've been finding pretty solid success in South Korea since their single "Next Level", and this may end up as their first #1 (it's #1 on Korean Spotify & Melon).
There are pretty obvious hyperpop influences in this, which I didn't expect. I guess South Korea is gonna have big hyperpop hits before the States do?

I think I'm going to have a similar reaction to this one as I did with "Next Level"... it's not really catchy on first listen and you kind of go "huh?" but it keeps getting better with each listen and it's actually kind of addictive lol
It also seems like the following is becoming a K-pop copypasta or something? It's just the English translation of the bridge (8:1-4 might be the eighth section of the song, first to fourth line but I haven't checked) but I love it.
KWANGYA 8:1-4
NΓ¦vis we love you. You are the one who protected me when i was in trouble. MY victory, one SYNK DIVE. I know your sacrifices. Letβs meet surely after the resurrection.

I'm actually starting to enjoy aespa more than any other current girl group from Korea. Their style really appeals to me for some reason, and this song makes me love them even more.

Disappointed by Giselle saying the n-word while doing a photo shoot.
