WMUWSE is the definitive Green Day power ballad in my mind. Easy vote for me here, even if I’ll admit that Damn holds up pretty well.

Don't start no s**t, there won't be no s**t.In all seriousness, though, it was bottom 15 in the 2003 year-end rankdown, and bottom 5 in the 2004 one; it only had a single top-ten rank in the former. I can't imagine it'll have more than, like, 2 votes, even in such a weak set. "Suga Suga" is also here, and that was 55+ spots higher in both rankdowns. That being said, "Suga Suga" deserves, but I'd be fine with Green Day winning, too. 1. "Suga Suga" 2. "Wake Me Up When September Ends" 3. "Hotel Room Service" 4. "When It's Over" (a pleasant re-listen) 5. "Can't Believe It" MIND THE GAP 6. "Let's Get Married" (the remix, though, because the original is so bad) 7. "Superman (It's Not Easy)" (boring song, but there's still much worse yet...) 8. "Lips of an Angel" (again, this had potential, but the lyrics and delivery just ruin it so badly) 9. "Damn!" 10. "Laffy Taffy" (rivals "London Bridge" as one of my least favourite #1's ever, or at least prior to 2020)

1. Suga Suga 2. Hotel Room Service 3. Let's Get Married (admittedly a guilty pleasure, lol) 4. Wake Me Up When September Ends 5. Damn! 6. When It's Over 7. Can't Believe It 8. Superman 9. Lips Of An Angel (very poor lyrical delivery) 10. Laffy Taffy (laff-ably bad)

WMUWSE, Can't Believe It (I also love Jojo's cover of it!), and Hotel Room Service is a TRINITY

How funny would it be if "Suga Suga" got disqualified from #77's due to having won a previous set, but not "Disturbia"? You'd think it would be the other way around, if anything. Certain easier for me to not have to choose between those two, though.

Wow.. weakest set so far. These are my picks:
Laffy Taffy (that was my jam in high school) Let's Get Married Can't Believe It
I don't really care too much for the rest.

Just like at the #30's thread, I'm going with a personal favorite in "Lips Of An Angel" even though I'm definitely sure I'm the only one voting for it.
But damn it means I'm voting against "Wake Me Up When September Ends", another 2000s classic

Like some of these, but I agree this is like the weakest set so far. My favorites would be: "Let's Get Married," "When It's Over," "Wake Me Up When September Ends," and "Hotel Room Service."
Voted for: "Let's Get Married" (though I nearly considered the Green Day or Pitbull songs).

CLASSIC 1. Wake Me Up When September Ends (I think this might actually be my favorite single from American Idiot)
Great 2. Damn! (this had way better rapping than expected from a crunk single)
Good 3. Suga Suga (rapping isn't great but that guitar is still really catchy) 4. Superman (guilty pleasure but also sweet)
Okay 5. Can't Believe It 6. Hotel Room Service
Mediocre 7. Let's Get Married 8. When It's Over
Awful 9. Laffy Taffy
TRASH 10. Lips Of An Angel

Damn. :( "Suga Suga" will have no chance against "Disturbia" in #77's (even I can't vote it over Rih). "Wake Me Up When September Ends" is a good winner, though, I guess.
