There are some other pretty good songs here, but they don’t come close to the banger that is Let It Rock.

1. Let It Rock 2. Let It Go 3. U Know What's Up 4. Break Up 5. Bring Em Out 6. The Space Between 7. What About Us? 8. Game Over 9. Chain Hang Low (it would be difficult to make a song this bad, but somehow he managed it) 10. It's Five O'Clock Somewhere (this is horrible IMO, but I don't care for most country)

Very weak set. I chose "Let It Rock" in #32, so it's an even easier choice for me this time. Honourable mention to "The Space Between", though. That one is very nice, too, and would easily get my vote if it weren't for "Let It Rock". Heck, I'll rank them. Why not? Even though I had to listen to 3 of them again, because I forgot how they went. 1. "Let It Rock" 2. "The Space Between" 3. "Let It Go" 4. "U Know What's Up" (I don't remember this, but it sounded nice) 5. "Bring Em Out" (also better than I remember) 6. "It's Five O'Clock Somewhere" (to quote another country song from the 2003 year-end, what was I thinkin' to rank this so high in the 2003 rankdown?) 7. "Game Over (Flip)" 8. "Chain Hang Low" (way to ruin the ice cream truck classic) 9. "What About Us?" (I get major "Filthy" by Justin Timberlake vibes from this production ) 10. "Break Up" (how did he go from the masterpiece that is "Let Me Love You" to this garbonzo?)

As a side note, I've always found it strange that that song is DMB's only YE hit, especially given how big they were in the '90s. Then again, all of their singles back then were airplay-only, so we never got to see Ants Marching, What Would You Say, or Crash Into Me become the YE hits they probably deserved to be.

Yeah, I agree. It definitely feels like they were bigger than just that one song. I'm sure they at least made some airplay year-end charts in the 90s, but I guess we'll never know how many of them could have made a Hot 100 year-end.

Great 1. Let It Go 2. U Know What's Up (god, Left Eye was so good)
Good 3. Bring Em Out 4. Game Over (lmao at them sampling Pac-Man sound effects for a hard gangster song, it kinda works tbh)
Okay 5. What About Us? 6. It's Five O'Clock Somewhere
Mediocre 7. Chain Hang Low 8. The Space Between 9. Let It Rock
TRASH 10. Break Up

Like most of these songs. My favorites would be: "U Know What's Up," "What About Us?," "Bring 'Em Out," "Let It Go" and "Let It Rock"
Voted for: "What About Us?"
