This isn't bad, but I don't really hear much potential here to help her break through. There's not enough dynamics here.

This is a jam for me. It’s not pushing any boundaries but it’s a smooth listen!

Happy to see her finally releasing a radio single! The song itself is not bad, not her strongest, but I have been liking Kylie Morgan's output overall, so I hope this can do something for her!

This doesn't do much for me and I have a hard time imagining this being a notable hit, but it got off to a better start with adds than I would've expected, pulling in 23 stations yesterday.

Showing up in the New & Active section of BB's latest chart update as getting pretty close to charting on the airplay chart. That said, it does debut at #49 this week on Hot Country Songs chart, so it's making a ripple.

Kylie said that she got the idea for the song based on the advent of dating apps and the all-to-regular act of people being in relationships with no real commitment in their minds.

Calling it now that this will be a sleeper hit of 2023, I feel like she is connecting pretty well so far (given the early HCS appearance) and I do think radio while a bit slow with this song does like it (already on 56 stations).

I heard this yesterday on the radio and didn't know who it was. I kind of like it. Would love to see it take off.

Enters the Mediabase Top 50 this week at #50. I still remain hopeful this can be a sleeper hit this year as it is at #44 on Hot Country Songs chart which outranks the latest singles from Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay, Joe Nichols, and Shane Profitt all of which have much more radio airplay than this.

Excuse my rage and language, but why the f*ck is radio not converting this. Performing great on the streaming front AND is currently #12 on the Monday Morning Intel Callouts, despite being stuck in the upper 40s positions for airplay. This is a hit waiting to happen, if this was by a dude it would've already been #1. Annoying af.

This should've gotten OTV and not Bailey Zimmerman's viral, well-streaming, obviously going to hit #1 anyway "Rock and a Hard Place".

Personally, as a man, I’m not interested in listening to this song and if it comes on the radio (which I don’t listen to) I switch over to a song that I can relate to. It’s always the same thing. Women in country don’t get played at radio so let’s talk shit and discredit any male act.

Women in country don’t get played at radio so let’s talk s**t and discredit any male act. We aren't discrediting male acts but it is blatantly sexist and unfair that so few female songs get played on radio. Seriously look at the Mediabase Top 50 in which there are only 11 songs by a female artist (Lainey Wilson twice, Carly Pearce, Megan Moroney, Carrie Underwood, Hailey Whitters, Kelsea Ballerini, Elle King, Priscilla Block, Kylie Morgan, and Ashley McBryde) while the rest are by men. Also it's unfair that this song is taking it's sweet time despite testing and streaming well, while Shane Profitt's debut single is in the Top 20 despite far worse sales/streaming and testing. But no male artists are the persecuted ones in country music

Because as Ray said, men with worse streaming songs than this are taking off. And despite whatever you choose to listen to, this song is connecting on the sales/streaming front, like I said, which means it does in fact have an audience that are choosing to seek it out to listen, even more than a good chunk of the male artists in positions higher than it. However, they are seeing conversions, and this is staying locked in the 48-50 mark despite having more consumer interest than said men.

Just because it’s from a woman’s perspective doesn’t mean you shouldn’t relate to it. Empathy works across genders.

The song suggests that if someone truly wants to be with you, they will make it clear through their words and actions. The overall message is one of self-respect and not settling for less than someone who truly values and respects you. Exactly which part of that do you find unrelatable?
The whole idea that men cannot "relate" to the message of a song just because it is sung by a woman is garbage.

This might finally take off as it is gaining airplay and most Iheart stations played it last night so it might pick up those 10-15 monitored stations soon.

Unfortunately looking like this one is done. It's been loosing the last few days and I don't think it recovers.
Hopefully whatever her second single is can connect with radio. There was streaming interest in this one at least.

Very salty with radio’s treatment of this one. Around 40-50 million Spotify streams (I think) last time I checked and over 6 million views on the official video.
Yet radio stalls this around 40. While they let Dan & Shay go top 2 a few weeks ago with a song that made half the noise this one did.

This one stalling out just barely inside the Top 40 when it has shown a clear consumer interest and good radio callouts just baffles me. Obviously blatant sexism but heck there have been female singles that have done better than this and showed less consumer interest ("My Bar").
I do think there is some potential for her to be a star but this song fizzling out doesn't leave me the most optimistic.

Her voice feels polarizing imo. I personally am not a fan. Solid song though

Yeah I feel like if this song didn’t break her, even with the steller consumer interest, I’m not sure I see anything happening.

This song is good but personally I like Country Anyway better. With the mediocre performance of this one,I think the chance for a second single from the E.P. is close to zero.
