What a FANTASTIC album. Even better than the debut!
Wishful Drinking truthfully didn’t need being a “bonus” track - it fit in the album perfectly. It should’ve been placed as track #6 (right after How Honest and before No Choice). Not sure why Ingrid and her team/label felt the need to do that because the chronology would’ve worked so much better that way instead. But other than that, what a great album, the production, lyrics, melodies, and vocals were superb. I loved how it basically told a story of going through a breakup and then falling in love again.

This is up there with "Palomino" and "Raised" for my favorite album of 2022.
I love the concept of the album and the overall sound/vibe. Standouts for me are "Yearbook", "Seeing Someone Else", "How Honest Do You Want Me To Be?", "Feel Like This", and "Blue". There's so many great single choices from this project, but I'm hoping they go with "Feel Like This" for single #2 and then "Yearbook" for single #3 (I think it could be another "More Hearts Than Mine" for Ingrid).
Anyways, I'm so excited to see this album and era take Ingrid to the next level! I hope she gets more love at country award shows during the next award season!

This is SOOOOO GOOD! Obsessed and it being a story gets me right in the feels. I’d agree with Ingrid that Wishful Drinking does not fit. Thematically it fits but sonically, nope.

Only given it one listen so far but it's amazing how great Ingrid is at crafting melodies. She's really got a strong ear for that and it shines through here. I'll need a lot more listens to have my favorites sink in, but this is definitely without a doubt a helluva great album. Also I agree with Elusive Chanteuse that "Wishful Drinking" doesn't sound out of place on the record at all. I'm glad her label talked her into/forced her to include it on the streaming/digital version so her record wouldn't suffer from its exclusion.

#1 on iTunes Country Albums and #9 on Apple Music Country Albums.
Still right outside the Top 10 on the all-genre iTunes, so it's holding up quite nicely (it reached #10 on all-genre iTunes upon release).

I love this album, even if I think a lot of the songs are not country. How honest do you want me to be, no choice and falling for you are my favourites.

First listen and much like her first album I don’t love the album but there are a lot of strong songs here.

Lovin’ this album. Ingrid is just so talented
Hoping for Falling For You next…it sounds like it could be a hit and is perfect for fall/winter

First listen and much like her first album I don’t love the album but there are a lot of strong songs here. This is how I feel, too. There are some great songs here (Wishful Drinking, Seeing Someone Else, Yearbook, How Honest Do You Want me To Be?) but overall I just find myself impressed with her voice and talent than I am impressed with the songs themselves or wanting to come back to them. I saved the ones I like but overall just find her to be really talented but not necessarily an albums artist for me.
