"Jumpers" was two points ahead of "Hills of Katmandu". This is just a single point ahead of "Jumpers".

After ranking Sleater-Kinney’s “Dig Me Out” in my bottom 5 in aerodynamite’s alt/rock rankdown, “Jumpers” impressed me much more.

While I prefer other Lupe Fiasco tracks from his first two albums, I’ve certainly overlooked “Murial”.

Things have been fairly close throughout this top ten, though it's here where separation finally really starts to happen.

I still think “Moonshake” should have easily made the top 10 in the previous rankdown I took part in.

So, back to "Blind" for a second. The "last-minute decision" I was referring to was moving this particular song to this rankdown and moving it from one of the upcoming All-Timers. My reasoning was that I thought this would have a shot of doing better here than in those All-Timers. Given that it won this rankdown by a full ranking over everything else, I can't help but agree with my own assessment...though now, it makes me wonder how this would have done in its All-Timers RD.
Potentially the peak of 90's shoegaze.
Congrats on seeing your favorite song win, rowellfarm490, zippy, and especially singingrulebritannia, who it only makes sense that their favorite song would win the rankdown where they were responsible for over 1/4 of the songs featured here.

The fact that I posted everything on time...I gotta say, I'm proud of myself for this lol
And that is that! I'd like to thank everyone who submitted, posted, followed along, and, in general, helped to make this rankdown yet another fun one to host for everyone. This rankdown, in particular, was special, because it allowed me to give thanks to all of you who have given me so many great discoveries over the years. This doesn't even scratch the surface of all of the great discoveries I've made through Pulse games. I doubt I'll do a second version of Discoveryland, but who knows? Maybe I'll return to this topic in a few years, if I'm even hosting rankdowns then.
It's been all fun and games here (well, for most of you), but things are about to get heated once more. I've hosted two personals and a rock chart rankdown since we tackled, arguably, my single toughest rankdown ever. A rankdown I've been hinting at (or just blatantly saying that I'm doing) over the course of the last few months is coming...and, while I can't promise that it's going to be as brutally tough as the first installment was, I can assure you that it will, once again, not be an easy rankdown to rank.
40 all-timers down...40 more incoming.
COMING SOON THE ALL-TIMERS, PART II

Thank you for hosting this rankdown Red. We ended up with a great runner-up and deserving winner. "Leave Them All Behind" is definitely top notch shoegaze/noise pop, and it's not a surprise to see it dominate. I had chosen Ride's "Twisterella" from the same album for the psychedelic rankdown I co-hosted with aero and it finished runner-up. I'm sure I would rank it higher than 20 if I redid that rankdown now. I also had chosen CAN's "Sing Swan Song" for that rd.
