Original thread for reference.
31 voters came in for the last round, making it the second highest rated episode of the season so far! (Shh, I'm aware this isn't TV. Or a series. Or episodes.)
Ladies and gents, there's been a murder committed. One of these songs as scalped. Wig gone. Earning absolutely no votes whatsoever, "A Place in This World" comes up dead last. There is no place in this world for it.
But do you know what I'm getting so sick of? Running as fast I can and only getting 3 votes. Would it have gotten more if it was by a man? Almost certainly not, but it's interesting imagery for sure. "The Man" is out next with 3 votes.
Speaking of men, we're continuing to kick them the f**k out as "Hey Stephen" is out next with 4 votes. It was one of my picks. I may or may not be bitter.
Surprisingly, this set contains two features. And one of them is out next.JigglypuffLana Del Rey's (very, very minor) contributions to "Snow on the Beach" get the boot next with 5 votes. Do you know what snow would do on a beach? Melt.
Keeping with the wintery titles, "'tis the damn season," which surprisingly isn't a Christmas song, is out next with 6 votes.
Coming up next with 7 votes, it's time to shut up. "Speak Now" gets the axe.
And OMG there's a tie! This means we have 4 songs in our final three. Guess these two can split that bronze medal. With 8 votes each, the 2023 hit "I Knew You Were Trouble." causes too much trouble and tries to blame it on "Don't Blame Me," taking them both out at the same time. So who came in second? Who gets the silver? Sadly, we cannot rejoice in the irony of "exile" not being exiled, because it's the loser here. Don't fret, though. These songs aren't dead yet.
This means our track 4 winner is "Out of the Woods"! 1989 continues to show up why it's that bitch as it earns the 3rd entry in our album.
But now it's time for the track I'm sure many of you have been waiting for. For those not in the know, Taylor Swift is well known for making her track 5s very personal, and many of them are indeed some of the best tracks of her entire discography. But sadly, only one can win. Who will you choose? (The winner may not be as obvious as you think.)
