Kesha had realllly solid LPs. I'll go with her. Katy Perry had good singles but only one strong album.

Going with Kesha for "Praying" was such an achievement.

Going by # of songs I like from each artist, then Katy blows this out of the water
Going by style, it's Ke$ha. She was the final breath of emo in pop music and I was 100% there for it

Kesha's first four albums are miles better than Katy's first four, but Katy's best singles are better than Kesha's in my opinion.
I think I'll give this one to Kesha? It's a tough call.

Katy has 4x the amount of good songs over Kesha. But Cannibal is a great album. I didn't like that Rainbow crap at all and I want her trashy side back, even though that's just selfish.

Love Kesha but Katy easily wins this.
Katy has been more consistent in the long run with songs I like while I only really like Kesha’s 2009-2012 output (with Praying as an exception).
I’d love to see both artists get at least one more big hit in their careers.

she did try to push this a little. It didn't do anything - probably b/c it's so political, but dayum it's catchy af

Sad that they both HEAVILY relied on certain producers with certain sounds to bolster their careers. I would love for them to make a mainstream resurgence but I feel like their heydays are over and the baton has been passed to the next generation.

I them both equally to be honest, but for music specifically, I’d say Katy because of Teenage Dream alone, her singles were more exciting. They both bring a different flavour though, so it’s a tough choice.
