Kind of a random song to be this high. I can at least see a level of fascination around my 35 and 39 but not for this track

The fact that anyone remembers that she tried to be a contestant on The Voice is amazing

Also honest question - who the heck are The Dey, they just a random person on this track as a feature and then they no where to be found anywhere.

Little bit surprised to be the top rank on Elisabeth Withers; I liked her dance single 'Emotions' that she recorded under the name Elle Patrice (this was back in 2002, and it was remixed by Tony Moran).

Stars Are Blind. That's the scene in Promising Young Woman where they dance to it

Dang so close to the top 10. I also love Easy from her a lot. Ugh we tried. :'( I loved that we both ranked "Walk Away" at #2! The fact that anyone remembers that she tried to be a contestant on The Voice is amazing Lmaooo yeah I remember her on The Voice as I was rooting for her on there. I remember being so shocked seeing her on there too. Also honest question - who the heck are The Dey, they just a random person on this track as a feature and then they no where to be found anywhere. Lmaoo good question. I remember they were a thing for a bit in 2006/2007. They had their own song, ""Give You The World," which I really enjoyed. That and "Walk Away" was all that I remembered from them, lol.

Tracy Young and The Scumfrog did some great remixes of 'Stars Are Blind'. The others are just okay. One thing to her credit is, the actually decent songs from her debut (bar 'Turn It Up' which is a turd that to my recollection only Paul Oakenfold salvaged) are the ones that Warner shelled out for dance mixes.

Promising Young Woman definitely made Stars Are Blind cool again. Even if I still don’t really respect Hilton.

My 39 has grown on me in the time since I submitted for this rankdown, to the point where I'd possibly even consider ranking it top 25. Still hoping the song exits early in the top 10, though.

Also, I have to say this....I hate that "Miss Murder" was AFI's biggest hit. "Silver and Cold", "Dancing Through Sunday", "Girl's Not Grey", "Medicate"....so many Bangers, yet THIS was the magic one

Yayy happy to see this back with more reveals! 20. Rich Boy feat. Polow da Don - "Throw Some D's" (622 Points): Ooh wow I am really pleasantly surprised with this song making the Top 20. Not really my favorite rap song(s) of this list, but it's a rap song so I'm in support of it making the Top 20 especially as my favorite songs missed out. :( I'm happy to see so many Top 10 rankings for this (despite not being one of those). I do like this and like it enough to rank it at #26. So a cool jam and middle of the rankings for me. But the 4th highest SD makes sense. 19. Elisabeth Withers - "Be With You" (624 Points): I wasn't really familiar with this song. I may have heard this before but I don't recall? But I pleasantly really enjoyed this and enough so to rank it at #29. I ranked it higher than some songs I knew very well. I wouldn't mind listening to this some more in the future. I'm not surprised this has such a low SD. 18. the bird and the bee - "Fucking Boyfriend" (631 Points): I don't remember this one at all but lmao omg whoa I ranked this at #33? I'm reallly shocked about that. I guess I liked it more than I thought. I must have listened to a different version as I'm not caring much for this live performance version, lol. But I did enjoy what I heard when doing this list, haha. 17. Blue October - "Hate Me" (634 Points): Oooh lol lucky .indulgecountry and SHOOTER for getting to clear out their Bottom 10s with this reveal. Meanwhile, I still got 3 Bottom 10 rankings in this Top 16 still remaining. And two of them are lower than this. Okay so this was my #47. Yeahh I am kinda familiar with this song but I never liked or cared for this at all, hence my low ranking. I didn't realize it would be so popular here. But glad to lose another Bottom 10 rank. 16. Hellogoodbye - "Here (In Your Arms)" (637 Points): Ahhh nicee yayyy finally my lowest remaining rank shows up, this time being my #49. Ugh this song.... I just find it so bland, blah and whatever. Never liked this and even when I listen to it in recent times, I still don't care for it. Another song I didn't expect to rank so high but glad to see it out now. 15. Augustana - "Boston" (641 Points): This is a very pleasant, nice and enjoyable song. I liked this and like it enough to rank it at #34. I do remember when this was out and liked it then, but it was never a song that I grew to love. 14. Paula DeAnda feat. The DEY - "Walk Away (Remember Me)" (645 Points): Ugh dangg, I'm really sad to see this song show up now and be just a few spots shy from making the Top 10. :'( I'm still glad to see this making it this high to #14 though. But yeah I really love this song and think this is such a great and catchy pop jam from Paula DeAnda andThe DEY. This is also by far my favorite song of hers. I also wish her other singles were bigger hits as I liked all of what she put out. OOH and I totally got the John Legend clue. I did really enjoy her when she was on The Voice and wished she made it further on that show too. 13. Paris Hilton - "Stars Are Blind" (647 Points): This is a really cutesy, fun and enjoyable song that I liked enough to rank it at #24. Hmm though my ranking of this is a bit surprising as maybe I should have ranked this a little lower. Kinda surprised that I ranked this above "Throw Some D's." Anywho, I wasn't really that huge on this when this was out, but it's grown on me over the years and I do appreciate it more. Cute fun pop song. Oh I thought "Nothing in This World" was the followup hit to this. I do remember that song/video, though not as well as "Stars Are Blind." 12. AFI - "Miss Murder" (660 Points): Oohh nnicee, very happy to see my #42 getting revealed. This is alright.... I do remember when this was out but I just never really cared much for this. This isn't really my kind of music or thing so it was hard for me to get into. But I don't strongly dislike it, lol. Now I just need one more Bottom 10 ranking out so hopefully that comes next. 11. OK Go - "Here It Goes Again" (683 Points): Well it wasn't my last Bottom 10 reveal, but this is my #37 so I will take this reveal, lol. Anyway, I was never really that huge on this song. I don't dislike it but it's just fine. And it does kinda have a fun sound to it, as I do like the chorus. But I don't care for the verses. Remaining spots: 1, 4, 5, 6 13, 15 27 31, 40 48 A decent Top 10. I do love 4 and really like 2 of these songs (all of the songs in my Top 15) so I'm pulling for any of those to win.... but especially pulling for any of the songs in my Top 6.

17. "Hate Me": Damn it, one off from a perfect rank! 16. "Here (In Your Arms)": Finally! The autotune really taints this one severely for me. It would otherwise be a solid song. Nice hint, by the way. 15. "Boston": I think this was my 2nd-lowest remaining rank in the top 15, so I'll take it. I don't really remember it, but I must have found it decent enough to put it in my top half. 14. "Walk Away": This pretty much sums up how I feel about this one: "Mom, can we have "We Belong Together""? "We have "We Belong Together" at home! "We Belong Together" at home: Lol, I don't dislike it, but how did it go this far? I didn't think there was any chance of it even making the top half. 13. "Stars Are Blind": I never thought I'd be ranking a Paris Hilton song so high, but here we are. If Paris got a hit, I'm glad it sounded as good as this one. Really glad it made it this far. But also annoyed at once again being one off of a perfect ranking. 12. "Miss Murder": Another one I didn't think would make it this far, but I'm glad it did. I thought it would be more polarizing. The melody and instrumental hit just right. 11. "Here It Goes Again": Well, this was my lowest remaining rank, and the only one not in my top 20, so I'll gladly take it. I found it was decent enough, though. Remaining: 1 2 3 6 10 11 13 14 17 19 Good top ten. I have no complaints about it at all. I'm shocked that "Breathe" and especially "Where'd You Go" made it. I thought they'd have been out some time ago. Rooting for one of my top ten to win, though I'm happy with my 6 winning, too.
