Tara Kemp, probably remembered more from her #3 peaking “Hold You Tight” than her #7 hit (my favorite) “Piece Of My Heart”.

A really promising one-hit wonder can often get a second charting hit out of general public curiosity — “I liked their breakthrough, so I’m gonna check out their follow-up” — so there are tons of examples of this.
One of the big ones i haven’t seen mentioned yet is Blues Traveler, whose “Run-Around” is much better remembered than their second hit, “Hook.”
