It’s been a while since a new Canadian artist sent a song to the US radio (the last one could be either the flop of Ottoloni or Goodvin), I’m excited to see this. Josh Ross is a talented artist and has good momentum, , and although I prefer his other 3 songs over this one, considering the buzz aroudn the song, Trouble was not a bad choice after all. It is also promoted as the single in Canada starting this week, and pulled 6 early adds so far. Hope this can do something on the US chart.

I’m happy they are putting him on our stations now and hopefully this can at least make the top 50 which doesn’t seem unrealistic. I do wish they sent “On a different night” for his debut as it seems like a radio friendly song that could’ve set him up for something else.

Aw. They should have sent "Before I Loved You" or "On a Different Night"

This is decent, but it’s no “First Taste of Gone” which is a beautiful masterpiece.

Aw. They should have sent "Before I Loved You" or "On a Different Night" Both are awesome, and glad to see another poster knowing Before I Loved You. I don't think that was among the options though, as he got signed to the label after releasing First Taste Of Gone, so four choices he had were Trouble, First Taste of Gone, On a Different Night, and Red Flags. This is my least fav, but looks like it had a good start with 40 adds (second most), so excited to see how far he can go with this in the US.

This got way more adds than I would've guessed. Guess there's a bit of hype for him at radio.

I wonder when he will be added to the UMG Nashville website as an artist?

Already debut at #43 on Hot Country Chart, so seems like there are some consumer interests, which is more than expected.
He also released this new jam yesterday.

Just joined the top 10 in Canada after 11 weeks on the chart. Overall very strong chart run in Canada. Hope to see this song at least charting in the US as well.

A few weeks ago i went to Nickeback and saw this guy as he was the first opener, and i came away really impressed! Songs were good, voice was good, just all around really enjoyed him. Definitely rooting for this song and him in general.

I’m surprised this hasn’t charted yet given the strong add date and at least decent streaming. I don’t think it’s even on the verge of charting but maybe with a few big adds it could still make it.

I was a bit surprised initially too, but the current threshold for the chart is unusually high rn. The #60 song has almost 1 million audience impressions, which is like double what a #60 ordinarily has. There's quite a few songs that have been out for several months now that had solid adds dates and yet haven't been able to crack the chart, and there's tons of songs bouncing around in the 40/50s barely moving as well. The charts just feel SO clogged.

#1 in Canada on its 15th week on the chart. This is his first #1 song Canada. This is also the first time a Canadian song is taking the #1 spot on the chart since October 1, 2022, Dean Brody's "Where'd You Learn How to Do That."

Sorry for the double post. Here is the CCMA performance video. He won the breakthrough artist of the year, not surprisingly.

Still gaining adds, but I'm a little surprised this one hasn't snuck on to the charts yet. It's got 67 stations. It must be close if it hasn't been pulled yet.
