Does this website pull from AllAccess or do they display Mediabase data independently from that?

Does this website pull from AllAccess or do they display Mediabase data independently from that? It says it's powered by Mediabase, Which is a good sign.

So the entire platform's going dark by that time? Meaning the vast majority of what was provided there is now not going to be available for the public?

This is really sad. I've used All Access multiple times a week for the last decade or more.

It does not show Chr/Pop radio stations & others. It also doesn't list the stations when you put the city in.

This came as a shock to folks in the industry. Told the staff was only informed only this morning. The short answer explanation circulating is - advertising from labels has dropped dramatically in recent months due to promotion budget cuts, particularly at pop. Label spending is more and more allocated to digital marketing. Not radio. A sad day and emblematic of radio’s diminished stature in exposing and breaking new music. Most of all of course - a sad day for the 25 all access employees who will be out of work. Anyone who has lost a job before knows that it can be an upheaval in life. So best wishes to those folks

This is pretty disappointing, though, there was a time when this info wasn't so readily available. Hopefully something will have similar info, but if not, we will have to adjust.

it would be good if the Billboard website would post more radio airplay info since they recently started using the Mediabase charts. . from 1993 -2005 there was the Radio Monitor magazine which had alot of Billboard airplay info.

Maybe any one of you could email one of the staff of AllAccess that even though the buisness would shut down, but the site would still be up and the charts will still update?

So just out of curiousity, if all access is gonna disappear, how will people who use information they get from there and post it here be able to do that anymore? Is there any other sites that provide info like they do? If not i feel like its going to really impact this site quite a bit snd i’m very surprised this isn’t being talked about more

As of currently, there is a direct link to Mediabase that we can use, but it will only give us the top 30 (top 20 for Rhythmic and Urban/R&B). There is also a site, Pollstar, which shares the published update for the full top 50, but it's only updated weekly and does not include any information on audience. So after August 15, we will completely lose access to #31-50 except for the published update.

While it's good that we'll have this site as a backup, I'm not fond of their interface. On the All Access charts you can see dozens of song titles on the screen at once. Here you can see 4-5 titles at a time.

Here you can see 4-5 titles at a time. I don't care for the layout either. It also looks like it will be a huge pain to try to copy/paste from for those of us who post the charts/updates on here. On AllAccess, it's a pretty smooth copy and paste where you just have to remove "up this week," but the layout on Pollstar is so cluttered that it will take a lot of work to format the data in a way that's readable. The site is coded in a way where you can't just copy the top row; it copies all the "This week" / "last week" / "spins" headers as well as the data. Honestly, it looks like it will be easier to manually type out the data, rather than messing around with all the extra formatting from copy/pasting it, which definitely says something about how horribly the site is laid out.

One bright spot is that you'd really only need to do anything with the #31-50 region because you can still get the top 30 direct from Mediabase; you just won't have the audience for those bottom 20 spots.
EDIT: You won't have LW positions or spins for debuts/re-entries either.

Downloads, charts, job postings, columns, and other info will still continue, per an email blast that just went out: clients.allaccess.com/mail/A/all-access/aadl5.htmlEdit: There's a news post as well. Net News, columns, and other content-based work will go away. Nothing definitively specifies that future release calendars will continue to be updated.

Sad, feel like this is a major sign of what is to come.
I'm not sure if this is necessarily bad for new artists or a good thing if radio continues to diminish. To be honest, I am not sure if I even know what I'm talking about, it's just a different time.
I think many of us who've been messing around with radio charts for 20+ years like myself when I was very young (essentially to look at what songs I could download off Napster or singles I could buy at the store) before the songs even got popular, finding out about new artists not available to my local market.
I'm still one of those people that feel like "real #1 songs" are the #1s on the airplay charts, not the Hot 100 which in my eyes is a compilation of cheated promotion and advertising. It kind of makes you wonder, if Taylor Swift was peaking with the way music was heard in the 90s, I'm not sure she would even be that popular (and I think TS is great, and icon), just totally different times.

^Yes- it's rough to compare anything from back in the day to who/what has come out of the digital/streaming era.
Good news that the charts will still be available.

They never specified if "future releases" will stay, but does anyone know if that's included with what's staying? I'd hate to lose that feature.

Anyone know if the radio adds board is going to stay as well? I didn't see it specifically mentioned on the website.
