The Conservative Country is far more harmful to the very fabric of our society and is creating further division.
K-Pop is not a threat to our national security. (the fanbase might be when they are angry their favorite artist didn't get to #1)

There is another Conservative Country song that has begun to go viral in the U.S. during the last week. Maybe this is going to be a thing for a while?

There is another Conservative Country song that has begun to go viral in the U.S. during the last week. Maybe this is going to be a thing for a while? I unfortunately am aware of that song, haven't listened to it in full but it just seems like another version of try that in a small town by a way lesser known artist to me. I guess I should elaborate on the actual question, while I'm not the biggest k-pop fan the conservative country can have an impact much beyond the music industry if it starts to get huge. these artists support values that are harmful to minorities and just toxic in general and we don't need to normalize constantly giving these types of people hits. not to mention that the music just isn't as good.

K-Pop is enjoyable, if sometimes cheesy. "Conservative" country is flat out offensive to many who don't share a particular political view, and usually doesn't offer much musically to offset the lyrics. And while some might say it's their way of expressing how "forgotten" or oppressed they feel, well, deliberately antagonizing the rest of the country is not going to increase sympathy for you.

While I respect everyone’s opinion, I’m surprised that some people actually think K-Pop number ones* are worse than MAGA number ones. (*More like “BTS number ones” because they are the only K-Pop act that has ever benefitted from chart manipulation by their fans.)
BTS fans buy and stream songs just to support their favorite artist. No other agenda. All the major fanbases have been trying to do the same thing for years: download day, streaming day, strategic streaming, mass buying w/ a bunch of remixes available, foreign fans trying to use vpn, etc. However, BTS has way too big of a fanbase that can actually make a huge impact on the chart, unfortunately.
While it's annoying to see as a chart watcher, I think it's still miles better than the so-called conservative people trying to make a political statement by pushing a song that they won't even going to remember in a few weeks. (At least BTS stans are consistent - they are still streaming and supporting the group's old "hits”.)
What kind of social damage did songs like Butter and Dynamite cause when they went #1? Did K-Pop artists try to divide the country or instigate hatred towards minorities with plain or subtle political messages? No. That alone should be the answer to the question, imo.

the possibility of there being a second conservative country song hitting #1 in 2023 is enough for me to strongly consider shifting to the global 200 for hits i'll say it again
