1. One Shot 2. Heartbreaker 3. Want It 4. Right Now 5. Show Stopper 6. Hold Me Down 7. Come Over (Interlude) 8. Ooh Ahh 9. Press Pause 10. Ain't True (Interlude) 11. Ride for You 12. Touching My Body 13. Back Up 14. Stay With Me 15. Sleep on It (Bonus) Danity Kane's self-titled debut album was released on August 22, 2006. Publicly assembled by P. Diddy on the MTV series Making the Band 3, the quintet became the third girl group signed to Bad Boy Records (after Total and Dream). Recorded in three months, the album was preceded by the top-10 lead single "Show Stopper" and debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 with first-week sales of 234,000; it would be certified Platinum just three months later. This really marked the beginning of the end for the modern girl group despite the album being a great introduction. It was full of trendy sounds and textures but had enough personality to actually sell it and hinted at the potential they would build on with their sophomore. It sounds very much like a mid-00s project but it hasn't aged as terribly as some of its peers and could've gone 4-5 singles deep had Puffy known what he was doing (One Shot; Want It; Right Now were all waiting to smash). He remains unforgiven for squandering all their momentum by waiting damn near six months after the album dropped to release a second single that got no promo. That man will not see heaven. (#8 Hot 100; #4 Rhythmic; #33 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs) (#78 Hot 100; #37 Rhythmic)

I had this cd, but for some reason I basically paid it dust..? I don’t know why because a lot of the songs are right up my alley. Maybe the chorus’s are kind of lacking some? Listening back though I really slept on this. I’m definitely going to add a bunch of tracks from it. Maybe I could do without “One Shot, Back Up and Stay With Me”. Though their not that bad. I was never huge on their debut single “Showstopper” but, it’s kind of nostalgic. Lol
