Back in my day High sd songs were divisive, not just outright bad. What a rip off.

Not sure with the specific songs, but it would be cool to rank James McMurtry and Robert Earl Keen in AAA rankdowns.

I have never seen someone so quickly and succinctly illustrate how little reason they have to be sending for rock chart rankdowns Not to mention they put You're Beautiful at 92 and I'm Yours at 100 in that rankdown while having them top 10 when they were on these lists. I'm not trying to gatekeep, but why do these lists if you hate even the songs in your top 10??

99. Eric Clapton - Revolution - Aww a little sad seeing this show up as this was my #51 and I was the second highest ranker of this. It was definitely very unexpected hearing a reggae sounding song from Eric Clapton. I thought this was an unexpected fun sounding song and really liked the vibe of this. 98. John Mayer - Daughters: Well DANGG, I already lost a Top 10, three songs in - with it being my #8. And omgg I'm the only one to rank this in their Top 47 rankings? Dangg I am a mess. I don't regret my ranking as I do love this song and think it's a really stunning and beautiful song. I'm happy I got to boost this from being in the Bottom 2 but def wish this was higher. 94. Beverly Hills - Weezer: Oh wow I'm shocked to see this song was at #100 for awhile as I thought this was a song does relatively well in rankdowns but maybe I'm thinking wrong? Anywho, I was never really a fan of this song, especially when it was out and popular. It annoyed me back then. But sometimes I kinda like this and kinda like the chorus. I liked it enough to rank it at #76. I think it was one of, if not, the lowest ranked songs I am familiar with. Also lol I was not expecting to be one of its higher rankers either. 92. One Of The Fortunate Few - Delbert McClinton: I don't even really remember this song but it was a new one to me and guess I liked it well enough to give it a #29 ranking. I really liked the fun sound of this song. And wow, guess I liked this more than nearly everyone else. 89. Crazy Love - Ray Charles f/ Van Morrison: Ooh wow I was the highest ranker of this song with ranking this at #31. :o Kinda surprising to me. This was enjoyable. 87. Wordplay - Jason Mraz: Aww dangg nooo, I'm really sad to see this show up as this was my #16. This is a really fun and enteraining song from Jason Mraz and I was just digging the sound of this. Happy to see two other rankings in the Top 20 for this as well. I was hoping for this to do better but oh well. Booo at so many rankings in the 90s. :( But oh this is his best showing in his performance history, which is great to see. 86. Photograph - Nickelback: Not surprised that this song has the highest SD. OMGG I forgot that I had ranked this at #4. Omgg dang that is sooo high, lmao. This is a really good and enjoyable song... and yeah I do really like/love it. It's also crazy how I can rank this song at #4 on one rankdown and then in the 90s in another rankdown, lmao. LMAO It wouldn't be a true AAA rankdown if I wasn't doing by far the worst. Woww me being last on both Rankdown closeness and Year-End closeness. That would happen with me.

Anywho, I do take my time listening and getting to know these songs, admitally most of them I don't know but I do listen and rank them properly. I want to see and discover new songs I could like. And I also want to help out the songs I love or really like out here, even if they don't do well. My preferred genres are pop, R&B, rap and others hence why those songs were ranked lower on the Billboard Hot 100 year-end. But if my participation isn't wanted here, I can stop participating going forward.

Nah keep submitting if you want but I personally would rather not do a rankdown where a song in my top 5 is also in the bottom 10 of another rankdown. On another note no second reveal today but tomorrow I will 100% have time to do 2 sets since set 2 is almost ready to go as is.

I still enjoy taking part in this rankdown and getting to learn about new songs that aren't familiar to me + supporting the songs I do like. Ooooh looking forward to the next set of reveals!

LOL! lost two top 10s right off the back. I'll comment on a few that I recall being memorably X-tra bad.
100. Willie Nelson f/ Toots Hibbert - I'm A Worried Man Nailed it. Not that I'm a Willie fan to begin with, but Reggae Willie is one of the worst experiences I had to sit through. It's so bad I'll give it a thumbs up for showing up where it should.
99. Eric Clapton - Revolution Definitely the worst I have heard from him like ever.
98. John Mayer - Daughters this was borderline boring to just lyrical laziness. I think the whole rhyming of fathers-daughters-lovers-mothers was a bit much though.
97. Dreamgirl - Dave Matthews Band Not used to Ballads from this guy, but I like the lyrics. TBH just ask her to be your girl if you want her that much. She will either say yes or no, but staring at her while she sleeps ain't gonna help.
96. Stranded - Van Morrison The song begged for better vocals. The music was soothing, but his vocal tones killed it.
95. Master Of Disaster - John Hiatt This guy has never set my lists on fire, but I really dug the music here. This could have easily been some stellar John Mellencamp Heartland.
94. Beverly Hills - Weezer LOL! I couldn't stop laughing at this rank, but I do recall the hate it got in a past RD. This is one of my favorite sing along Weezer jams ever. The fact the music video was filmed at the place that could easily be my version of what I hope heaven looks like makes it all that much stellar.
93. What About Everything - Carbon Leaf Never heard this or at least I think I haven't, but I'm pretty sure I would have charted it back then? The chorus reminded me of OAR songs, and the lyrics had Train written all over them. Reminds me of other classic Train lyrics talking about Remember Winger, and KFC, and What about this, that and more nonsensical rhyming that is just easy to follow.
92. One Of The Fortunate Few - Delbert McClinton This definitely sounds like something you would here on K-Billys super sounds of the 70's. Michael Madsen comes to mind. Tarantino fans know were I'm coming from.
91. Amber Awaits - Blues Traveler This sounded more like Dave Mathews Band than Blues Traveler, and better than the Dave Mathews songs featured here.
90. Sweet Emotion - Leo Kottke & Mike Gordon I was dreading an Aerosmith cover. I actually think the vocals made it worse for wear.
89. Crazy Love - Ray Charles f/ Van Morrison Who asked for this collaboration? I could have done without it, cuz it just doesn't work on any level.
88. I Run For Life - Melissa Etheridge I kinda dug Melissa rocking out here.
87. Wordplay - Jason Mraz These songs here were a bit more melodic then others. This guys lyrics all sound like a 5 year old wrote them, but they were fun to a point. The guitar melos remind me of Evan and Jaren, Vertical Horizon and other one hit wonders.
86. Photograph - Nickelback damn Chad and co. couldn't even make it through night one of reveals. Among these songs this one had an easy ride up my list. To honest I don't listen to this half as much as the strip joint jams on "Dark Horse', but it's nice trip down memory lane. "look at this graph, the rank you guys it just makes me laugh'.
