This isn't bad. She's on such a high right now I think it'll go Top 10 at least.

This is a nice vibe, but the song title is way more interesting than the song itself. Not the best single choice IMO.

This is a nice vibe, but the song title is way more interesting than the song itself. Not the best single choice IMO. That's what I was thinking when I first heard it on Kiss yesterday morning. I was expecting something more in your face(like "Shake It Off"). Sounds like it could've been a single from "Midnights" imo.

Style is right behind this. Taylor's 11th #1 needs to be one of the finest and most iconic songs of her career, not some mid vault track that will be forgotten in a month. Go stream Style TV now! (even if it's inferior to the original)

Severely disappointed with this. Easily the worst out of the five vault tracks. I’m hoping this isn’t going to be a single.
Here’s to hoping Tik Tok do their thing and push for Say Don’t Go or Is It Over Now instead.

I was so excited to hear this and, my god, what a dull song for such a fun title. And she considered dropping Blank Space for this on the original cd?!??!

I hope this can nab a week at #1 then Cruel Summer takes back the summit on the H100.
I think I rather have Midnights single #4 than a vault single though.

My theory is that she gave this the release week push but she’s gonna choose a different radio single eventually. “Slut!” has an intriguing title and she made sure to release it seperately on iTunes right away, instead of doing it on Wednesday to everyone’s dismay. So the fans will take it to #1. But the song isn’t strong or catchy enough to stand on its own. Maybe it’s a week-only thing.

I think it’s a cute nod to exactly what she’s experiencing rn with Travis Kelce too! A fun little bop but not worthy of single-material but none of the vault songs really are. I rather Cruel Summer get it’s full chart run and then have them release Midnight Rain or Maroon as we near the Grammys voting.

I don't really think any of the vault songs are really single material, if they are gonna push anything from the album they should retry New Romantics since it bombed during it's run at radio. Honestly right now it still feels like we are in the Midnights era, so maybe they should try for another single from that album.

This is boring to me. Hope it does well anyway simply because it's her.

The radio here censors “devil” from Paint The Town Red and “god damn” is censored from literally every instance now. Was that always a thing? Ain’t no way slut becomes a radio hit. "God Damn" was never censored on Rock or Alt, but Top 40 was always conservative because the primary audience for CHR is mothers and daughters. Depends on the market, Philly is quite liberal. Up until the 2004 Halftime Show, the rock stations WMMR played everything uncensored. What has rock radio got to do with Taylor, more specifically a Taylor pop song?

I keep coming back to this. It’s not an instant banger, which is I think what Swifty’s wanted it to be based on the title. However, it’s living rent free in my mind. I’m kind of obsessed.
It’s not the most radio ready of the vault tracks. That title goes to say don’t go or now that we don’t talk. This one is definitely my favorite though.

An "instant banger" is kinda what is needed if you want a song to be huge though. The casual listener isn't going to go back again and again to a song they don't click with instantly, especially with radio: the song needs to hook and hold the listener's attention immediately.
It's definitely gonna have a great first week regardless though. She knew what she was doing click-baiting with that title. lol

A Hot 100 #1 will be more than enough for this. I read somewhere (almost certain it was here) that her team is evaluating fan reaction to the tracks and making an asap single based on that. Interesting to see if that pans out.

Interesting to see if that pans out. Hopefully that's the case and they will push "Is It Over?". That's more radio friendly and a much better song. It's had the lowest percentage decline on spotify in its second day of all the vault tracks. It has the best chance of being a big hit with longevity. Perfect autumn/winter vibe as well.

Yeah that one hit #1 on Spotify today as well, they should go with that if it holds up for the rest of the week. Say Don't Go is also pretty good, although it may be a little long for radio.

This definitely felt pretty mid, even by more mid-Taylor Swift song standards (HYGTG is a way better mediocre Swiftie bop).
I can definitely imagine her relating to this now what with dating Travis Kelce, though.

When she said this was too LA for the album. I understood immediately.
This song is so vibrant, synthy (not in the typical Jack way) lyrically tight, and catchy to me.
I am glad this wasn't in the same vein as the man or hell even blank space.
I like the smart sadness to this song. They are going to call me a slut and I will get judged, but this time it will finally be worth all the havoc.
A beautiful sentiment from her.

I really really like this one. It's so dreamy. The chorus gives me Taylor writing a Bleachers song vibe.

This has really grown on me in the past day or so. I love how hazy and dreamy the production feels, and like Grün, I also enjoy how sad-yet-intelligent the lyrics are.

This is actually my favorite vault track, I'm a sucker for these dreamy bass heavy midtempos that Taylor does

This grew on me out of nowhere I feel like this is always the case with me with a few tracks on every album. I'm always intially like "NOPE, don't get it" only to ask myself what the hell was I thinking before as I play it on repeat 300 takeout coffees later.
