Out November 10. This is already pretty big on TikTok so could maybe be a #1 contender a la First Class.

Much like "First Class," the sample/production 100% carries the song. He just isn't a good rapper.

how does anyone’s age have to do with thinking jack harlow isn’t a good rapper (cuz he really isn’t).. Because there's a certain corny demographic who hate popular music or say things like "rap died with pac and big"

Old enough to know better. He seems like a nice enough dude, but even when he stumbles into a lyrical moment, his flow is cornball (along with his entire persona tbh). Rapping just ain't for everybody. This does sound like a smash though, so there's that?

Not too much on Jackman! He clearly switched his style up once he got more popular/mainstream, but this isn't bad at all.
TO ME, he reverted back to his old style on Jackman.
do a lil research

Imagine coming for someone's age to bat for a mid-tier rapper like Jack Harlow, lol.

You quoted me and started spouting off this nonsense about age and people's issues with gen z rappers. I literally have no idea what the fuck you're talking about, but it doesn't have anything to do with me.

And keep making dumbass assumptions buddy! Who is your idea of a good rapper? Riddle me So now there's a rap litmus test I have to pass? Every genre has a golden age, I don't sit around judging every artist by the past. If I did, I wouldn't spend so much time posting on a music forum dedicated to new music and artists. And I have no issues with finding current rap to enjoy either, from frivolous to serious. I'll rock with Gunna, Doja, Travis, 21 Savage, Drake, Megan, Kendrick, Cardi, Nicki, J.Cole, City Girls, etc. The list goes on. And this is the thing, I don't need to think someone is a good rapper to enjoy. GloRilla and Ice Spice couldn't find a beat with a gun to their head, but I'll bop. And there are quite a few weak rappers out there that have a bold personality to make up for their lack of skills as an MC. Like I said, this is a cute song, sounds like a hit to me. But the sample/production absolutely make this song. His flow stays corny and his secondhand embarrassment persona can't carry a song/album on it's own (pssssttt... Jackman wasn't good). There isn't a single era of hip-hop, past or present, where Jack Harlow is serious, lol. And that's fine, he doesn't need to be.

This was played on The New Hit List, so there might be a pop deal with this?
I usually don't care for Jack, but i actually really like this! It's cool that they didn't sample a song that was already a monster hit, so that gives me some respect for it.
SMASH Jack!

Is it just me or does the beat remind me of Truffle Butter by Nicki Minaj?

I'm not looking for peak Kendrick bars on a hit Tik Tok bait single that's meant to draw the GP back in (due to his last album being a glorified mixtape with no attempt at sounding instant). It's the same way I wouldn't listen to a closer on a J. Cole album to pregame to on the way to a club/bar.
