OOTT is so catchy, one of the strongest songs from the album (including deluxe ofc) for sure. Surprised that there is no #1 ranking for this, but I also forgot that taylor did not join the game this time.

For a song that feels like a definite top 10 finisher, it's surprisingly having a hard time getting there. The Strawberry Wine comparison must have been rough, but I argue that it's again a solid reference point and I may like this song more than Strawberry Wine tbh. Condolences to Wavey✨️ and kluen for losing your #1.

As someone who kinda tanked Watermelon Moonshine, I gotta say, tanking it because Strawberry Wine exists is silly.

I do understand some say this sounds too much like Strawberry Wine, but I think Lainey did a perfect job reimagining the idea with beautiful lyrics and production. Also why do you hate Lainey zaclord 🌈, out of curiosity?

Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves is a pairing similar to unstoppable force meeting an immovable object for Pulse, but discord crowd may worry too much because this is actually top 10 in the entire submission helped by some people with taste sent earlier. Still cool that this made a #1 debut on Hot 100. Good for both artists for making Last Night with real gravitas this time. Condolences to Fanstar1 and Mayman for losing your #1.

Glad this didn't make it any further than this. It already felt like it was overstaying when I saw it had beaten "Watermelon Moonshine." </3
Now, as long as Stapleton doesn't win, I'll be happy. WH is one of his best, but I vastly prefer everything else remaining.

Stapleton finally made top 10 in a Pulse country year-end rankdown after being robbed for so long and no reasons (You Should Probably Leave should have made top 10 instead of the mid Aldean/Underwood collab in 2021 for example). All three edits involve moving this song up but it ends up losing to the next song by one point still. Condolences to the following participants for losing your #1: singingrulebritannia , Gonza'90 , samo🦕 , wrip , khan , jasper0102 , razorshark and tim .

Dammit, the Stapleton song is high enough that I'll look like such a whiner if I complain about the tanks.

Yes this song beat White Horse by one point. Imo this is quite good, with solid wordplays such as "I tell myself that I should quit, but I don't listen to drunks" and "After all this back and forth, a fifth won't do", but there are some songs that I enjoy more. Definitely not the best male original song here. Condolences to gardyfan, nuggie99 and kw9461 for losing your #1.

Glad "Handle on You" made top 10. Best male song in the RD, hands down. The wordplay is SO clever and the melody is infectious. Just the right balance of contemporary and neo-traditional sounds.

So I generally don't find the appeal of Megan Moroney. This song in particular feels overrated for me because I have no feelings towards the idea, don't like her raspy vocals in this and the mixing sounds poor. I ain't going to rank I'm Not Pretty next year high either, but if No Caller ID is eventually a single then I would reconsider it. Condolences to .indulgecountry , Anthony !!!!!! and superdave3556 for losing your #1. Random tank from LBTrocks but at least for now it happens to a song that I don't care about.

White Horse is definitely on the stronger side of Stapleton's output, and it is still growing on me little by little.

Tennessee Orange is fantastic, and so is Megan Moroney. She is one of my fav new females on the chart right now, and so happy to see her doing well so far! Is LBTrocks from Georgia?

Wrong timing. Ashley McBryde is the real deal that some industry people definitely know judging from the awards nominations, but somehow is still underrated by many more after four albums (!). This song may scan as basic life advices but they are well-organized family or even womanhood ties. Also this recent CBS Sunday Morning interview is a must-watch if you want to know more about her.

I already knew LBTrocks hated "Tennessee Orange" because he's told me dozens of times, but I'm definitely amused that he's on that island alone because he's the only poster to rank it bottom-half. Glad she still made top 5 in spite of his tank. I just love, love, LOVE this song and Megan is definitely up there at the top of my favorites rn. Her debut album is just incredible top-to-bottom and she just continues to look like a huge format superstar in the making. I think within a year she'll be up there dueling with Lainey Wilson at the top of the genre.

I wish the melody was a little more distinct, but it is still a solid listen. Did not expect myself to be the lowest ranker of this song tho.

"Light on in the Kitchen" was a bit too lowkey and didn't strike a chord with me initially, but it wound up being a major grower and I absolutely love it now. I also got my hopes up because country radio fast-tracked it to the top 40, but then it spent half a year barely moving in the 20s, only to miss the top 20 entirely. Such a travesty. </3
