Hootie & the Blowfish appeared on every R&R Pop chart from October 1994 until March 1997.

This is a bit outside the box, but Sabrina Carpenter's aunt has charted higher than her in most countries. Her aunt voices Bart from The Simpsons, and in 1990, the song "Do the Bartman" from the show was a top 10 hit in numerous countries (and even #1 in a few). It was ineligible for the Billboard Hot 100 due to not being an official single, but it charted at #11 on the Billboard Airplay Chart.

For Glenn, it doesn’t feel too surprising since he was in his prime in the 90s and in his 20s then. It’s more impressive that he was only 17 for “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You.” More incredible that wasn’t his #1 hit but rather a forgettable duet with Bobby Brown. Good point. "She Ain't Worth It" is forgettable and as a collaboration between 2 very talented singers, they should have come up with something much better than that.

Beyonce's first two singles outside of Destiny's Child (as a featured act on Amil's I Got That and then her own lead single Work It Out) failed to chart on the Hot 100 and only bubbled under on r&b.
Carly Rae Jepsen is not a one-hit wonder (Good Time with Owl City peaked at #8 on the Hot 100 and charted for 24 weeks total) but 'two-hit wonder' just isn't as great of a sales pitch for the whole cult following thing.
*NSYNC has a top 3 country hit. (Alabama covered "God Must Have Spent a Little More Time On You" with *NSYNC as a featured act; it peaked at #3 on Country Songs and was Alabama's final top 10 appearance on any chart as a lead artist.)
Britney Spears had more Hot 100 top 10 hits after her conservatorship (nine) than she did before it (five).
Kelly Clarkson has three #1 albums and three Hot 100 #1 singles, but Breakaway isn't one of those albums and Since U Been Gone isn't one of those singles.
Kelly holds the record for most consecutive weeks in the CHR/pop top 10 (85 weeks with all of the Breakaway singles). That's not the part that sounds untrue, it's that other huge pop eras like Gaga's The Fame, Katy's Teenage Dream, or Taylor's 1989 weren't able to break it or even come close. As far as I can tell the second longest consecutive-week run on CHR is held by The Chainsmokers, with 61 weeks.
Every member of New Edition had at least one Hot 100 top 10 and at least one #1 on a genre chart after leaving the group. They are the only group in chart history to accomplish such a feat.

"Alive" by Pearl Jam spent 61 weeks on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 during 1998-1999. It didn't even peak at #1, it only reached #7

Mariah: - All I Want For Christmas Is You charted on Hot 100 for a week in early 2000. Before anually re-charting, started in 2012. - Rainbow had the biggest first week sales among her 90s albums. But didn't even peak at no.1 Billboard 200. Rainbow was also a bigger seller than Butterfly in Europe. - Always Be My Baby was the biggest Hot 100 Airplay hit of 1996, but didn't even peak at no.1 Hot 100 Airplay - We Belong Together didn't hit no.1 on Hot Digital Song. It stalled at no.2.

I'm pretty sure the Beatles are the only group in chart history whose members all reached #1 on the Hot 100 after leaving their group, but that's a different stat from what I specified (and it's not something that sounds untrue; hardly anyone would be surprised at any record the Beatles hold). John Lennon never had a song reach #1 on any genre chart, which keeps the Beatles from accomplishing what New Edition did. That's actually extremely surprising. He did hit #1 on Cashbox and Record World's charts a few times, but those were not genre-specific.

Kelly Rowland got to the top of the Hot 100 as a soloist before Beyoncé did.

Of the three members of the group Labelle, Sarah Dash was the first to chart on the Hot 100 as a soloist, Nona Hendryx was the second, and Patti LaBelle was the last.

^ IDK how that one's meant to sound implausible. Zayn went solo first, of course the hype would be insane to the point he got a #1 with his solo debut.
Is this devolving into a 'group members who charted as soloists' thread? 'Cause that's another topic.

Air Supply spend 182 weeks on the Hot 100 from 1980-1983 and their first 7 singles all peaked in the top 5.

Wasn't "Alive" on their debit album? If I'm not mistaken it wasn't released as a psychical single in the U.S so it wasn't allowed to chart back then. As to why it charted during 98-99 my theory would be that it became a radio staple in rock stations over the years so that allowed it to chart at least in the Bubbling Under Hot 100 when the psychical singles rule ended

Aerosmith scored their biggest hit 18 years after releasing their "Greatest Hits" album.
Steve Lawrence did the same but it was only 1 year later.

Linda Ronstadt has 21 top 40 hits. Only one of them was not a cover.
James Ingram only had 1 solo top 40 hit. All of his other hits were collaborations.

Queen had 2 Billboard Hot 100 #1 hits, Another One Bites The Dust and Crazy Little Thing Called Love. Their most popular song Bohemian Rhapsody never hit #1 on the Hot 100.

Backstreet Boys don't have a #1 on the Hot 100.
"Womanizer" was only Britney's second #1.
"Don't Speak" by No Doubt did not chart on the Hot 100.

Definitely all of the mid-90s alt songs that spent months at #1 on radio charts but didnt chart on the Hot 100 because they weren't released as commercial singles. Don't Speak was the #1 all genre radio song for 1996, never charted on the Hot 100. One Headlight by the Wallflowers was #5 on the year end all genre Billboard Airplay chart for 1997 but never charted on the Hot 100. I'm sure there are plenty of other examples. I never knew that, that's crazy. What consituted a commercial release? A CD single?

Of the 74 songs to debut at #1 on the Hot 100, 38 of them happened in the 2020s. The Jonas Brothers were the first group to debut at #1 in the 21st century and that was in 2019.

Here is a fun one. Milli Vanillis most popular and biggest song is Girl You Know It's True. That never reached number 1 in USA while 3 other songs from them did.

"Why Me" by Kris Kristofferson peaked at number 16 but was number 6 on the 1973 year-end.
Psy had another top five hit besides "Gangnam Style".
"Another One Bites the Dust" was number 65 on the 1981 year-end list and number 43 on the all-time list.
