I think it will be fun to predict which song would be next female billboard country airplay no.1

Probably way too obvious but yeah i also expect Lainey to be the next female country radio #1 (and hopefully she does Wildflowers and Wild Horses is by far her best single yet)

Think the next BB female country #1 will be Ashley Cooke with “my place.” If that doesn’t get it my money is on whatever Lainey Wilson’s lead single is (baring it’s not CCA.)

Ashley Cooke is the only one of the female hits rn I feel has a shot at #1, sadly. Lainey *should* have gotten there, which is hella disappointing that she's gonna come up short due to timing. Then there's the singles of Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, and Megan Moroney that all oughta be doing better than they are, but are just spinning their wheels as female hits often do...

Wouldn't Carly Pearce's not count regardless on the technicality that it is a song with Chris Stapleton as a feature? As I am wondering if this is solo #1 or #1 with a female artist in general attached to it.
