hopefully it gets some adds at Pop today .it would have enough spins for the published chart but that 124 is for the all station numbers where #50 has 186 spins. it got 58 adds at AC and only 2 at Hot AC.

I'd be thrilled if Billy could crack the pop chart, again. With the spin threshold for the top 50 so low right now, it might even be possible.

Per Spincrease, it has 124 spins on 75 stations. 114 of those spins are from its premiere last Thursday. In the four days since, it's gotten 10 spins total (2.5 per day). So, no chance of it premiering this week unless it gets added by a bunch of stations in the next few days.

Just heard this and I really liked it. This was a pleasant surprise. I could see this going top 40 at least.

I can't see this doing anything but then again I didn't think half the legacy artists that charted in the last few months would either. lol

JT is flopping, Ariana is falling short. I also think the Grammys pretty much proved that legacy artists still matter and that people are open to sharing new music from them, despite what the music industry thinks. The Rolling Stones have a song "Mess It Up" on their new album that could easily be their biggest hit if Geffen pushes it(it's already Top 20 on AAA). It shouldn't matter the age of the artist, as long as it's a good song, which was a problem back in the early 90s when many established artists were getting free passes for crappy singles.

I totally agree. If the song is good, who cares how old the person is. Truly baffling how radio shuns people. But at least in the last year or two it has slightly changed a bit. Hopefully it will continue to do so.

Debuts at #62 on the Billboard Hot 100, Billy's first appearance since "To Make You Feel My Love" peaked at #50 in 1997.

the song got no adds at Pop in it's first two weeks so unless it gets a later push it looks like it is finished here .

If this could become a sleeper hit on Hot AC or even Alternative, maybe a few pop stations will get the message.
