The collaboration between Little Big Town and Sugarland, which is a cover of Phil Collins' song, is out now.

Are they lip-synching? Just watched the guy with beard and the pretty blonde sing.

Apparently Brooks & Dunn's tribute to Toby Keith is bombed, which is surprising to me.

Apparently Brooks & Dunn's tribute to Toby Keith is bombed, which is surprising to me. One of the worst award show performances I’ve ever seen TBH. A lot of them have been off tonight. LBT & Sugarland probably were the best. Trisha was solid, and enjoyed Parker McCollum & Dasha too. She did a solid job I thought

Did Kelsea say it’s her last year hosting the show? That’s sad!

Sigh. I don’t know why I even get my hopes up for any country award show/category anymore. If you’re not Lainey or Jelly Roll, you don’t stand a chance unless you’re in a category they’re not eligible for. I don’t understand the appeal for either of them and I’ll be sitting out of any award show for the foreseeable future since they’re literally the only ones who win anything anymore.

Just the feedback loop of having a lot of exposure through different media and having a rabid fan base. Still don't think Jelly Roll is that popular comparing to Combs/Wallen/Zach or even Stapleton but eh

It is a new song Trisha co-wrote. Trisha is currently working on 2 new albums. One of the albums will be along the lines of the Sinatra album, and the studio album will be all songs she co-wrote over the past year or so. Guess I should post the song as well.

This is partly why I don't watch award shows. The fix has been in for decades (this goes to the Oscars as well).

They’re both so unappealing as artists to me outside of a few songs and I’ve TRIED. I just really don’t get the hype, especially when looking at some of their competition.

I don't get what the issue is with the winners. Country awards shows have most of the time picked one single artist and awarded them only year after year. It happens at the cmas, acms and cmts as well.
Feel free to correct me on these numbers but Miranda won like 9 female vocalist in a row at the acms, blake also won like 5 times at the cmas, brad before him, etc. Carrie has like 24! cmt awards. Keith won like 4 cmts in a single year. Its always been that way, lainey is a phenomenal artist and a great representation of the genre right now and the voting members and the fans seem to agree.

I agree! I love Lainy and Jelly and their albums are in my regular rotation. I'm finally seeing Jelly live in the Fall! I actually voted for both of them and were excited when they won. Congrats to them both and I wish them many more years of success!

Were Brooks & Dunn drunk? Lol What an awful rendition of Toby’s song, it was almost disrespectful.
