50 adds for him isn’t bad at all I hope this can get him back to where “Note To Self” was at least but then again I might be optimistic as I am a big fan of his music.

Think he meant that radio is the only entity that has this song thus far, as a studio version has yet to be released for purchase or streaming as of yet, which is incredibly rare in today's entertainment industry. It is an odd release strategy to do this in 2024, to say the least.

Nothing earth shattering but I love the old school feel. Hope it’s a hit and we get another great album soon

This is better than "Cancel" purely based on the fact that it isn't whiny drivel, but still... not good. His shouty way of singing has never appealed to me and made the songs of his that I liked few and far between as a result, and this is another one of those misses. His vocal performance on this is just plain awful.

I wish “Out and Down” was the song that got a big push. Or “Still That Cowboy”. The story of his career is blown single choices

This song is better than dreadful Cancel, but definitely far from his best. The melody is just not good. I think there were a few solid tracks from Note To Self era, so I wish they tried another single from the album, instead of moving onto the next era, which has been quite underwhelming so far.

That album was perfect 2000s country. Shame nothing really hit big off it

Ever since his “Magnolia” album I’ve really enjoyed everything he sends to radio and this is no exception. I’m not loving it as much as “Cancel” or “Note To Self” (which to me is the best lyrical song in a long time) but it seems more radio friendly and less divisive than his last single.

It’s already out-peaked “Cancel” in a few weeks and with good Billboard gains this week I’d assume this will do well especially given Magnolia’s tendency to promote songs for a long time.

Should’ve released “Still That Cowboy”. That could’ve been a hit for him.
